General Hospital (GH) spoilers review for Monday, November 4, reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) opted for champagne to round out their Halloween evening at The Metro Court. Soon Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) came along and Curtis was astonished to see Nina back with Valentin. Nina assured Curtis that she knew what she was doing, and Curtis left in a huff with Jordan.
Afterwards, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) spoke privately with Valentin and warned that they weren’t out of the woods just yet, since if anyone re-ran the hospital DNA tests on Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Nina, they’d find them to be a match…which would be a problem. Turns out, the hospital samples on file are from Nina and Liesl’s sister, so that would prove foul play. And just at that moment, Curtis and Jordan looked at DNA results they had obtained from GH…showing that Sasha and Nina are a match.
And after that revelation, Curtis is going to be more determined than ever to figure out how the samples could have been tampered with. It probably won’t take him long to realize that that “Sasha” sample from the test must have been switched out with an actual relative of Nina’s, and that should lead Curtis to Liesl sooner or later.
Meanwhile, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) offered to text the person who sent him the nude pictures, to prove to Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) that the whole thing was a mistake. But the person texted back as if he knew Brad, which floored Brad. Then, Liesl texted Brad, and Lucas wanted to know who it was from, but Brad refused to show Lucas the text and made up some lame excuse about it being work-related.
That was enough for Lucas, who decided that he and Wiley would stay overnight with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). He told Brad to scram, and Brad headed straight to Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) office, where he learned that Julian arranged the nude pictures. Julian then demanded that Brad admit to having an affair to Lucas and leave town immediately. Brad said no, and Julian proceeded to make it crystal clear that Brad was going to do as he says.
Finally, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) revealed to Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) that he doesn’t want Laura Collins (Genie Francis) or Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) to know that he’s alive until Valentin has been neutralized. In fact, Nikolas was irked that his mother had been brought into the search at all, and he blasted Jax for letting that happen.
In fact, Jax wasn’t that enthused about continuing on with their little arrangement, but ultimately he agreed to keep working together to bring Valentin down. As it turns out, Hayden and Jax are helping Nikolas because Nikolas promised them a cut of the Cassadine fortune and the shipping division of Cassadine Industries, respectively.
It was also revealed that Nikolas didn’t mind that Ava Jerome (Maura West) was currently in Shadybrook, since she had recanted her statement about Valentin shooting him in cold blood. In fact, Nikolas stated that Ava deserved whatever she got for her betrayal, and that he had followed her to the gallery to find the portrait of Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). He seems to think little of her at this point.
Ultimately, it seemed that Nikolas was calling the shots on this plan, and it was also revealed that he and Hayden are still technically married, although in name only. It seems that Nikolas, Jax, and Hayden are wanting to wrap up their mission as soon as possible, which is to bring Valentin to his knees – yet why Laura and Spencer can’t know about the plan at this point remains unclear.
