General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, October 31, teases that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will bail on the Halloween festivities and head to the gallery. She’ll probably want to inspect Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) portrait since she overheard Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) talking about it. Valentin suspects that painting may be more valuable than he realized, so Ava will hope that’s true. She’ll smile and tell herself things are turning around for her, but trouble’s just around the corner.
A mysterious figure will follow Ava from the party to the gallery. It won’t be long until Ava senses this man’s presence, so she’ll finally catch him and hold him at gunpoint. Ava will force the mystery guy to take off his mask, and it seems likely Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Nick Stabile) will be underneath.
Back at the Halloween bash, Laura Webber (Genie Francis) will refuse to give up on this codicil quest. Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) may suggest Laura can take a step back from it if she wants. After all, Laura’s a busy woman as the mayor of Port Charles! However, Laura has a special interest in bringing Valentin down. She’ll tell Jax she wants to be the one to do it.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could give Laura some competition in the takedown department. She appears to be duping Valentin by pretending to forgive him. It’s doubtful that Nina’s actually buying Valentin’s bull, which means she isn’t buying Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) either. Nina will rip into Sasha again on Thursday, but Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will strut over and shout that’s enough.
Willow has faced her fair share of outbursts from Nina, so she won’t be afraid of another one. She’ll be more concerned about stopping this attack on Sasha. Willow may insist is a public space that Sasha has every right to be in. She might contend that Nina should leave Sasha alone and let her enjoy the party like everyone else.
Of course, this should put Willow on Nina’s bad side again. GH may want to keep their feud going since Nina’s bio daughter still hasn’t been revealed. General Hospital buzz points to Willow being the real deal, so it makes perfect sense to keep the conflict going here.
In the meantime, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will have some advice for Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). She had concerns when she learned T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) was thinking about proposing. Jordan can’t help but feel like T.J. and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) might be limiting themselves. She’d rather see them do a little more exploring before settling down.
Jordan admitted she might be in denial about how serious T.J. and Molly’s relationship is. Even so, she’ll just want what’s best for T.J. as well as Molly. Curtis will point out that something’s far from a done deal, so he may mean this proposal and potential marriage. It’s not like Molly and T.J. are getting hitched tomorrow, so it’s best not to get too worked up about it.
Across town, the teens will gather for the Halloween dance, where Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will make her move with Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab). As the fun kicks off on The Haunted Star, Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) will wonder what could go wrong. We’d say a lot! Cameron Webber (William Lipton) stole some booze for his soda bottle, so the evening’s already off to a rocky start. He’ll take more risks as the night goes on – and so will Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Dustin is serving as a chaperone at this shindig, and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) is his lovely date for the evening. Unfortunately, they may be forced to alert the authorities. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will get a shocking phone call before the week’s over, and Josslyn will have to live with her decisions on this Halloween night. It certainly sounds like Cam and Joss could face some legal drama.
Speaking of legal drama, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) still stuck in hers for now. She agreed to a bench trial in hopes of speeding the process along, but she isn’t going home just yet. The guard will bring Sam’s violent cellmate back from solitary, so Sam will finally meet the woman she’s been fearing. It appears Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) may join Sam, but she could be an ally or an enemy depending on how Sam handles this.
At GH, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will get a sweet visit from Neil Byrne. He’ll be concerned about Alexis’ illness, but she’ll surely downplay her symptoms. Neil will eventually make an admission, which may bring another round of awkwardness and perhaps even a few butterflies. Alexis is growing closer to the good doc, so she’ll happily listen to whatever he wants to confess.
Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) will discuss Daddy duty. They’ll hopefully avoid interruptions this time as Finn asks what part he plays in Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) life. Finn wishes he could’ve been there from the get-go, but better late than never! He’ll certainly won’t to work something out with Hayden and make sure he can give Violet the father she deserves.
