General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, October 1 Update – Helena’s Trophy Room Mystery – Kim Fights Franco’s Treatment

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, October 1, tease that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will get settled in at Shadybrook. As GH viewers know, he was transferred to the mental health facility after Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) conspired to have him declared incompetent due to diminished mental capacity. That leaves Elizabeth in charge of the decision-making where Franco is concerned, and it’s left Franco quite unhappy.

On Tuesday’s GH episode, Franco will make an outgoing call to Kim Nero (Tamara Braun), who will surely have been worried sick about him. Ever since he got Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) memories, Kim considers him to be “Drew” and has treated him as such. It looks like Franco will let Kim know that he’s physically fine, but that he wants out of there and needs help. He’ll also let her know that he’s very much in love with her and wants to be with her, which she’ll likely reciprocate.

Meanwhile, General Hospital spoilers say Kim will be feeling frustrated and helpless. She’ll want to help “Drew,” but she won’t really have any avenue to do so, and she’ll end up exploding on fellow doctor Terry Randolph (Cassandra James). Terry may offer to be a sounding board for Kim, but since Terry is a close friend of Elizabeth’s, she may offer an opinion about Franco that Kim doesn’t entirely appreciate. Kim is shown in Tuesday’s GH preview lashing out at Terry and insisting that “Drew” real and that he’s not crazy.

As for Elizabeth, she’ll remain steadfast in her resolve to force Franco to undergo Andre Maddox’s (Anthony Washington) memory reversal procedure, and she’ll also decide to tackle the Kim problem head-on. Elizabeth is furious that Kim slept with Franco, and GH spoilers she’ll pay Julian Jerome (William deVry) a visit at Charlie’s Pub. She’ll strongly suggest that Julian take Kim and leave town, but the chances of Julian doing that at this point are nil. Julian’s done with Kim, and he refuses to compete with her memories of Drew any longer.

Next, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will decide to play nice again with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). GH viewers will remember that Nina seriously lashed out at Jax a while back because she thought he was hiding something important about the whereabouts of Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck). But now that Cassandra is behind bars and not posing a threat to Nina or Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), it seems that Nina is willing to let her anger go.

Nina will cordially invite Jax to her wedding to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), which is something that probably won’t thrill Valentin, but it just might interest Jax. After all, if the wedding is at Wyndemere, then that could give Jax another opportunity to snoop around the place and search for the codicil to Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) will. He could even bring Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) as his plus one!

And speaking of the codicil, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will meet about their next opportunity to go searching around Wyndemere. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Laura will be headed to the castle for an upcoming visit with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), which should give her the opportunity to do some snooping in Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) trophy room.

Finally, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will be in hot water as she gets booked for the alleged murder of Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will remain by her side as she waits in holding, and she’ll lament to Jason that Shiloh seems to be able to get to them, even beyond the grave. Of course, this is likely just a temporary setback for Sam, as the “evidence” against her seems pretty shaky.

All the police really have is what a nurse claims that Sam said to Jason about wanting to stop Shiloh in the instant before she shot him with the flare gun. Fortunately, it seems that Sam will eventually be set free and cleared of wrongdoing, although it may seem for the moment that she’s in trouble.

It sounds like a lot of GH drama is heating up for Tuesday’s episode, so stay tuned! We’ll give you updates as GH news comes in. Stick with the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates, and news.
