The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 16, teases that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will head to Newman Enterprises. She’ll approach Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) in the CEO office, where Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) portrait has been fixed. Victoria will talk about feeling respected now and accept a handbag from Nikki, who’ll be grateful Victor retired.
The conversation will shift to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so Victoria will admit some lingering concerns. Nikki, on the other hand, won’t be worried. She’ll downplay the threat and refuse to let the Newmans live in fear. At the ranch, Victor will confront Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) about trying to run Adam down. Billy will confess it’s true and express regret over what he did that night.
Victor will complain about that incident causing Adam to tamper with his meds. After Billy explains how he felt after Adam’s return, he’ll promise not to target him again. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will wonder about Victor’s next move. Victor will decide that if Adam deserves another chance, Billy does, too. He’ll urge Billy to use that chance wisely.
At Society, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will face Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) attitude again. She’ll snap at Theo after he makes an effort to be friendly. Next, Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) will be feeling a bit lightheaded. She’ll battle nausea over the smells in the kitchen, so Abby will wonder if Lola might be pregnant. Lola will insist they’ve been careful and point out that weren’t planning on having a baby right now.
Afterward, Lola will join Theo and once again deal with dizziness. She’ll feel like she’s going to pass out, so Theo will help her sit down before he calls Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). After Kyle rushes over, he’ll express his gratitude to Theo. Y&R spoilers say Theo will apologize for his terrible behavior lately. He’ll admit he misses being friends, so Kyle will suggest maybe they could have a beer sometime.
As Lola heads out with Kyle, she’ll let him know they need to stop at the pharmacy. At their apartment, Lola and Kyle will await pregnancy test results. Kyle will insist they’ll roll with it if the test is positive, but he’ll seem nervous. Once the moment of truth arrives, the results will be negative. Lola feel a mixture of relief and disappointment, so Kyle will confess to feeling the same way.
Kyle will take off to get some night cream, which will leave Lola to mull over the negative test. She’ll sigh before Theo texts her to look outside her door. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lola will thank Theo for the chicken soup he sent over.
Back in Victoria’s office, Billy will arrive and drop a hint about his earlier conversation with Victor. Victoria will want to hear the details, but they’ll agree the drama’s behind them now. In their suite at the Grand Phoenix, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will enjoy some steamy moments. After Elena’s called in to work, she’ll insist she can take her time about getting there.
Down in the lounge, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will urge Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to shoot some pool with him. He’ll answer a few questions about his background and push her to do the same. Amanda will quickly assume Devon put Nate up to this. She’ll lash out, but Nate will argue that they call just want to know more about her. He won’t think Amanda should blame them under the circumstances.
Amanda will assure Nate that she’s got nothing to hide. As Amanda stomps off, Abby will walk over and offer an apology for their recent fight. She said some things she regrets. Nate will be sorry as well, but he won’t think they can ignore their issues. He’ll talk about them being too far apart, so Abby will wonder if that’s Nate’s way of ending things. Nate will tell Abby to take care of herself before he exits.
At the coffeehouse, Elena will spot Amanda and rip into her for sticking around town. She’ll be appalled by what Amanda’s doing to Devon. Amanda will rant that she can’t wait for this case to be over. She’ll contend that she never should’ve let that “old jerk” rope her into this.
Devon will appear and wonder what old jerk Amanda is talking about. He’ll argue that Amanda can’t mean Chance Chancellor. Amanda will counter that Chance simply sounded like an old jerk when they spoke on the phone. She’ll hightail it out of there, but you can bet Devon will remain suspicious.
