Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) will return to Salem during the week of July 6-10. DOOL fans have been hearing about Evans’ comeback for quite some time, but this is the first official confirmation that she’ll be playing Bonnie. Of course, there’s always a chance Adrienne could resurface down the road. This is Salem, where the dead rarely stay dead!
However, let’s focus on Bonnie for now. Days viewers know Bonnie’s typically a schemer, but it looks like we’ll see her softer side when she returns. Bonnie still won’t be a saint, but she’ll grow into a better version of herself. DOOL’s going to work on a redemptive path for Bonnie, so perhaps she’ll have some staying power this time around.
After Justin Kiriakis’ (Wally Kurth) wedding to Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) doesn’t pan out, he’ll spend some time reflecting in the cemetery. Justin will probably tell Adrienne about all the drama and wish she was still around to love him. There’s no doubt that Justin would still be with Adrienne if he could.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Justin will face a cemetery bombshell soon after, so it looks like Bonnie will suddenly appear. Justin will surely be floored and wonder if his is somehow Adrienne at first. It’s reasonable in a town like Salem where people come back from the dead all the time.
Justin should be disappointed when he realizes this isn’t Adrienne, but could he grow to love Bonnie instead? That seems kind of creepy and disrespectful under the circumstances, but you never know! Justin could at least form a friendship with Adrienne’s lookalike eventually. We certainly want to see Wally Kurth and Judi Evans keep working together.
As for Bonnie, she’ll have her eye on a different man. Days fans will recall that Bonnie had the hots for Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) back when she was pretending to be Adrienne. Later, Bonnie tried to pass Mimi Lockhart’s (Farah Fath) daughter off as her own baby girl with Lucas.
Maybe Bonnie will work on winning Lucas over as herself during this stint, but that definitely won’t be an easy task. Bonnie’s a walking red flag based on her horrible history, so she’ll have some serious work to do in the redemption department. We’ll pass along updates as other DOOL news comes in.
