Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that one NBC soap star is speaking out about COVID-19 aka the coronavirus. DOOL fans know Brandon Barash as Stefan DiMera in Salem. Stefan’s onscreen return is just around the corner, so that’s something to look forward to this spring. We could all use some good news right now as well as some humorous social media posts to get us through the crisis.
Thankfully, Barash as got us covered when it comes to funny tweets! The coronavirus is bringing plenty of events, productions and projects to a screeching halt.
Days of Our Lives has gone dark until further notice, so it’s no surprise that HBO Max’s Friends reunion special has been delayed. Barash decided to comment on the decision on Twitter, but it was all in good fun.
“So much for all that ‘I’ll be there for you’ crap,” Barash said, referencing Friends’ memorable theme song. General Hospital fans might also remember Barash for his role as Johnny Zacchara in Port Charles.
Eden McCoy plays Josslyn Jacks on GH, but she still keeps up with Barash on Twitter and wanted to chime in. McCoy’s reply consisted of a couple crying with laughter emojis, so she was clearly amused.
Barash isn’t ignoring the seriousness of the pandemic, but it’s nice to laugh in times of crisis. Most of us can take a joke and even appreciate one right about now!
There’s enough doom and gloom, so Barash is just injecting a little humor into the conversation and brightening up the Internet. It’s a welcome relief when there’s so much bad news circulating in everybody’s social media feed.
Barash has sent out a few other coronavirus-related tweets, too. “Covid-19 has made me realize one thing. Social distancing is my love language,” the Days actor said in one recent post.
Barash also shared a CBS News article about thousands of people flocking to Florida beaches despite coronavirus concerns. Barash’s response was: “Three words. Natural selection, bitches.”
Since Barash obviously isn’t afraid to speak his mind, you can probably catch more COVID-19 tweets from him as the coronavirus crisis continues. As for what’s next in Salem, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will head down an intriguing road. After signs emerge that Stefan is still alive, Gabi’s journey back to him will bring some startling twists and turns.
