Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) hope will officially be gone soon. Despite Ben’s strong desire for revenge, he hasn’t completely accepted that Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) is dead – not at his core.
There have always been doubts about Vincent Belman’s (Michael Teh) version of events, so Ben still has to wonder on some level.
Ben may have a chance to express those doubts in his final faceoff with Vincent, but he won’t get the answers he wants. Days of Our Lives spoilers say confirmation of Ciara’s death will hit hard for Ben.
Vincent may find some way to back up his claims – something beyond the bullet casing that was found in the car.
Then again, the fact that Vincent stands by his story might serve as confirmation enough for Ben. When faced with the possibility of death himself, Vincent may insist Ciara is gone forever.
Ben may take that as confirmation since Vincent apparently won’t blab anything to save his own life – like an alive Ciara’s secret location.
However, Days spoilers say Ciara is alive and as well as can be expected all things considered. An audition video leaked for the captor who works for Vincent, so that offered hints about Ciara’s jam.
That audition video included dialogue about the memorial service that was held, so this is something that’ll play out after Ciara’s loved ones have grieved and struggled to move on.
Once Ben “confirms” that Ciara is deceased and all this Vincent drama is over, Ben will have some legal drama to contend with. The good news is Ben shouldn’t be in all that much trouble regarding this Vincent gun showdown.
The bad news is Ben will have to carry on without Ciara somehow. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will be instrumental in helping Ben see that he needs to do that.
Of course, Ben and Shawn won’t realize that Ciara is actually alive and out there somewhere. The fact that Shawn’s helping Ben move on could set up them working together on a rescue mission down the road.
Could Ciara eventually send a message to her husband – some sign of life that could ultimately renew Ben’s hope?
Maybe Ciara could sneak a letter out somehow or convince Vincent’s minion that her friends and family members should at least know she’s OK. Ciara might argue that her location will never be discovered, so there’s no real risk to informing Ben and the others that she’s alive.
Maybe Ciara could even argue that knowing she’s out there in captivity would add to their pain.
Whatever the case, Days spoilers say Ben will have to get a clue sooner or later – and it seems that clue could come from Ciara herself! Will Ciara be able to reach out to Ben somehow with some sort of message? As other DOOL details roll in, we’ll pass along updates.
