Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that the week of October 5 will be a short viewing week for viewers, as the show will be preempted on Thursday, October 8, and Friday, October 9. But viewers can expect to see quite a bit of action on Monday through Wednesday, and we’ve got the scoop about what you can expect right here.
First off, Vincent Bellman (Michael Teh) will decide that he’s ready to talk with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) about what really happened to Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal).
Exactly what Vincent’s going to say remains to be seen, and this could go several ways. Vincent could claim that Ciara’s dead, or he might decide to simply say that she survived but that no one will ever find her and that he won’t give up where she is.
Ongoing Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Hope will continue her search for Ciara during the week of October 15, so perhaps Vincent will give her and Ben some hope that Ciara is alive and out there somewhere.
Meanwhile, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will continue to pressure Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) to help her secure a conviction against Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) for the stabbing of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
Eli’s not going to be thrilled about helping Melinda, especially since he has already promised Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) that he wouldn’t do anything to harm Kristen going forward.
But Melinda will have Eli in a tough spot, since she offered to not pursue charges against Lani on the condition that Eli help her. Eli won’t want Lani to face charges and possibly wind up pregnant and in jail, so he’ll reluctantly do his part and try to score a taped confession from Kristen.
Elsewhere, Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) will be feeling terribly about her last interaction with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), which culminated in a kiss. Justin didn’t react well to that, and Bonnie is going to want to secure Justin’s forgiveness if she can.
It seems that Justin does have a bit of a soft spot for Bonnie, although he’s not yet admitting it to himself. We’ll see what happens here.
Major drama is going to unfold as well when Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) allegation of rape against Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) gets out.
As viewers know, Allie has just told Lani that she wants to press charges for rape, and as soon as the police investigation gets rolling, Tripp will get hauled into the station for questioning, where he’ll adamantly deny the allegation.
Allie will tell Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) about what she believes Tripp did to her, and of course Claire is going to be shocked since she knows Tripp well, although it looks like Claire will want to support her friend Allie, too.
Claire will probably feel torn by the allegation, and it looks like Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will have some tough conversations about the allegation as well.
Days of Our Lives viewers know that Kayla was the victim of rape many years ago, and so both she and Steve are very sensitive to this topic. But Steve will reel since the allegation is against his son, so we should see Steve and Kayla try to make sense of what they’ll think is a baffling allegation by Allie.
In addition, Victor will end up firing Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), most likely after he finds out that Xander was in cahoots with Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) to get Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) arrested for threatening Jan’s life.
That will suit Philip just fine, since he’s going to be out for Xander’s blood over the arrest. DOOL spoilers also say that Philip will make some sort of mysterious call, which could have to do with revenge against Xander.
Finally, Days of Our Lives viewers can expect to see Claire meet the new Titan Industries intern named Charlie (Mike C. Manning). Claire and Charlie will literally bump into each other in town square, which will result in Claire spilling a smoothie all over Charlie’s crisp white shirt.
It looks like Claire and Charlie may end up becoming an item, since Charlie will promptly ask Claire out!
That’s a lot of action for three days of programming! Remember, there will be no new Days of Our Lives episodes on Thursday, October 8, or on Friday, October 9. But you can keep up with all the latest Days of Our Lives spoilers and news right here at CDL. We’ve got you covered!
