Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) may find a new way to secure her place in an established Salem family. DOOL fans know Gwen has had some nice chats with Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) portrait lately.
Gwen almost feels like she knows the “old goat” and thinks he was a kindred spirit who had a flair for the dramatic.
Based on all the hints Days has offered, it seems like a done deal that Gwen is the long-lost daughter of Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). That would mean Gwen is Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) half-sister, too.
Gwen is definitely targeting Abigail and the rest of the Deveraux family, but she’s also been very caught up in the DiMera world.
When Gwen came on the scene, she was Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) ex-girlfriend – and Jake later turned out to be the twin of Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). Of course, Gwen has also been working with Dr. Rolf as her secret partner in crime.
Gwen has talked about how funny fate is and how it has a way of bringing people together. It may feel like fate to Gwen once Rolf’s latest opportunity lands in her lap. Dr. Rolf had to move on to plan B after Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) confessed to destroying the microchip.
Days spoilers say plan B involves Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) being a surrogate for a cloned Stefano’s embryo – yes, really!
Kayla is a bit too old to accomplish that task, but Dr. Rolf will intend to make it work with whatever twisted doc magic he cooks up. He’ll assure Kayla that it’s possible with his medical developments and whatnot.
However, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will eventually realize Kayla has been kidnapped. DOOL spoilers say Kayla will wiggle out of this crazy surrogacy nonsense, but that’ll leave Rolf with a Stefano clone embryo and no one to implant it in.
That’s when Dr. Rolf may get the idea to make Gwen his latest victim instead. Dr. Rolf may wonder why he didn’t think of this before – with the two of them being “practically best friends” and all.
Gwen corrected Rolf on his notion of them being besties, but he still feels like they’ve got a good transactional friendship.
Once Dr. Rolf tracks Gwen down and makes his pitch, he should find it pretty easy to convince her this is a mutually beneficial arrangement. For starters, Rolf may threaten to spill the beans to Abigail, Chad and anyone else who’ll listen if Gwen doesn’t cooperate.
That alone will be motivation for Gwen to participate since she won’t want the drugging news to come out.
Gwen would much rather avoid prison and keep her Abigail revenge plot going strong. Nevertheless, Dr. Rolf may think there’d be other perks for Gwen as well.
By agreeing to get pregnant with a Stefano clone baby, Gwen will be carrying a DiMera heir and will make herself a permanent part of this rich family’s legacy.
Naturally, Gwen would have options when it comes to how to proceed after she’s pregnant. She could paint herself as a true victim and try to get sympathy from Abigail.
As crazy as all of this is, Abby and the others know how Dr. Rolf operates. It wouldn’t be far-fetched for them to believe Gwen is carrying a cloned Stefano embryo.
On the other hand, Gwen might try to pass the baby off as Jake’s or even lie that she slept with Chad. The DNA results might show enough of a DiMera match for Gwen to pull off some tricks here.
Whatever the case, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen and Dr. Rolf will make a new deal during the week of October 26-30.
Since we know Rolf’s plan to make Kayla this cloned Stefano surrogate won’t pan out, Gwen seems like the logical candidate to fill in.
