Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) seems poised to make a comeback later this summer based on several leaked set photos. However, there’s no word on how long Kristen might stick around. In recent interviews, Haiduk’s costars have talked about how much they miss her on set, which could mean Kristen’s return will be a brief one.
With that in mind, we should consider the possibility that Kristen will get caught and thrown behind bars. There’d be some benefits to delaying a story like that. If Brady had his daughter back right now, he wouldn’t be doing all this moping. Brady also wouldn’t be focusing on revenge with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
If Brady was stepping up for Rachel Black in Kristen’s absence, his little girl would be his whole world. That’s why it makes sense for Days to take this route for a while. They can let some other storylines play out until DOOL’s ready for the next phase.
Kristen could easily be captured down the road, which would finally put Rachel back in Brady’s arms. Naturally, it’d be bittersweet since that’d also mean jail time for Kristen. Brady would face another goodbye with his love, but it would take the story in a different direction.
Since Brady and Sarah will grow closer while they seek vengeance, could Sarah ultimately find herself playing Mommy to Rachel? Kristen might even approve of Sarah serving as a fill-in mother after she gets caught.
Days of Our Lives viewers have seen a new side of Kristen when it comes to Rachel, so that’d be in line with this motherly version of her.
Brady keeps talking about how motherhood has changed Kristen, so she might see the potential for Sarah, Brady and Rachel to be a family. Kristen would rather be a family with Brady and Rachel herself, but prison might prevent that opportunity.
It could lead to Kristen giving Brady her blessing to raise Rachel with Sarah, especially if Kristen faces a lengthy sentence.
