Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will freak over some troubling news – and it involves Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) return to Salem. Let’s set the stage for all the DOOL drama to come.
Due to John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) medical crisis, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will make his way back to town. He’ll assume he’s alone when he returns to be near his ailing father.
It sounds like “Bristen” will discuss the matter beforehand and decide that Kristen should stay elsewhere with their daughter, Rachel DiMera Black. Brady will probably feel like it’s all settled, but we all know Kristen doesn’t take orders or advice!
Kristen does what she wants, so that’s exactly what she’ll do when she follows Brady back to Salem during the week of August 31-September 4.
Of course, Kristen will need some help since she’s a fugitive. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) will once again come to Kristen’s rescue.
They’ll team up, which brings us to the news that’ll have Eli sounding the alarm. There’ll be some incident that alerts Eli to Lani’s top-secret Kristen mission.
It’s possible Eli will simply come home to find Kristen hiding out at their apartment. Then again, maybe Lani will set Kristen up in a motel and leave Eli suspicious with her behavior. Eli knows Lani awfully well by now, so it’d be easy for him to sense something was up.
One way or another, Eli will realize Lani’s once again risking everything to help Kristen – except it’ll be even worse this time around. Eli won’t want his pregnant wife going to prison because of Kristen! Days fans know Lani and Eli are expecting twins, so their babies have to be the priority.
There’ll definitely be concerns about what might happen if Lani gets caught. Legal consequences would be a very real possibility, but even the loss of Lani’s job wouldn’t be ideal.
Eli’s already been concerned about how they’ll pay for all their baby supplies and two college tuitions down the road. Lani could easily be fired if someone other than Eli found out about this Kristen partnership.
However, the threat of Lani landing in the slammer may be Eli’s biggest fear. Not to mention Lani’s a cop and needs to be upholding the law. Even so, Lani just won’t be able to bail on a friend who needs her. Lani may even think there’s a way to get Kristen off the hook somehow, but that could involve more risks.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say this will cause a rift between Lani and Eli, so they’ll have to put some work into repairing it. As other Days updates emerge, we’ll provide more info.
