Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, November 2 Recap – Shawn Interrupts Vincent’s Confession – Allie Tells Tripp About DNA Test

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, November 2, reveal that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) woke up in a hospital room with Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) by his side.

Eli wanted to get up to go find Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), but when he got up out of bed, he passed out on the floor. Later, Eli woke up again, and Lani said that he had been muttering something in his sleep: “I’m sorry, I did what I had to do.”

Eli realized he had been talking about blackmailing Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), but he covered and told Lani that he was probably talking about Ben. Lani then said that Eli said, “I’m sorry, Kristen,” and Eli covered again, saying that he probably felt guilty for arresting Kristen.

Lani wondered again why Kristen pled guilty, and Eli looked worried.

In town square, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) strolled along after Ciara Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) funeral. Soon, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) approached and apologized to Steve for nearly taking a swing at him the other night.

Steve said something about John coming to his senses where Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) is concerned, and John growled that he 100% believed Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).

Steve grumped back at John, and Kayla broke up the argument, saying that this isn’t the time. Then Steve mentioned the DNA test, and John learned about the test for the first time, saying that it would prove what kind of man Tripp is.

John walked off in a huff, and soon Kayla got paged by the hospital and had to go. Kayla suggested that Steve call Tripp and tell him about the DNA test.

Outside the Brady Pub, Allie and Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) talked after Ciara’s funeral. Allie talked about how she never imagined being a mom as a result of these circumstances, and she wondered what Tripp had said to Claire about the situation.

Claire reported that Tripp swore up and down that he never slept with Allie. Allie then told Claire about the DNA test.

Claire said that she was worried about her dad Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), and Allie offered to go to the cemetery and check on Shawn, who was still there at Ciara’s grave.

Meanwhile, over at the cemetery, Shawn talked lovingly to Ciara’s headstone until Tripp arrived. Tripp offered to leave, and it soon became clear that Shawn didn’t know about Allie’s rape allegation. Tripp was about to tell Shawn when Shawn got a call and rushed off needing to find Ben.

Afterwards, Tripp sat alone at Ciara’s grave and admitted to having done some bad things, but he said that he hoped Ciara knew that he’d never make anyone feel the way that Ciara felt after her rape.

Tripp got up to leave, and he ignored a call from Steve as Allie walked up. Allie wanted to know why Tripp agreed to take a DNA test that will prove he’s lying. “DNA test? What DNA test?” Tripp asked.

Back in town square, Steve got a call from Kayla at the hospital. “You need to find your son,” Kayla said. “The test results are in.” Meanwhile, outside the Brady Pub, John filled Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) in about the DNA test.

John started to get worked up, and Marlena cautioned him to take it easy and to remember that Steve is his friend no matter what.

At the Salem Airfield, Ben held Vincent Bellman (Michael Teh) at gunpoint and asked if Ciara was alive. Vincent said that he shot Ciara and left her body in the car before it exploded, but Ben suspected that Vincent was lying.

Ben threatened to kill Vincent, and Vincent said that Ben didn’t have it in him anymore, and after some back and forth, Vincent appeared to become convinced that Ben might just shoot him.

Vincent looked scared and said that he’d been holding out on Ben. “There’s more to the story,” Vincent said. “Here’s the thing…” Just then, Shawn appeared on the scene and told Ben to drop his gun.

Ben complied, but he told Shawn that Vincent was about to confess something. Vincent then said that there was more to the story and that both Ben and Shawn needed to hear it.
