Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) is clearly wild about Gwen (Emily O’Brien). Although Jake thinks Gwen’s a jealous mess, there’s no denying the sizzling connection between them. Days fans can see that Gwen and Jake have a serious spark – and fighting only seems to fuel the flames!
Of course, Jake’s relationship with Gwen is a lot like Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) relationship with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus). Although Gabi drove Stefan crazy sometimes, they always brought the heat.
Clashing only stirred up fierce passion for Stefan and Gabi. They denied how they felt for as long as they could, but Gabi and Stefan ultimately couldn’t take it anymore.
Since Jake doesn’t think he’s Stefan, he’s been quick to shut down Gabi’s advances. Jake denies feeling anything for Gabi, but that’s obviously not true. There’s definitely some desire under the surface.
Jake kissed Gabi back and keeps flashing to their previous conversations, so there’s something between them. It’s clear that Gabi’s stuck in Jake’s head, even if he doesn’t want to admit it.
Who does Jake desire more, Gwen or Gabi? At this point, Gwen seems to be the one Jake mainly wants. That makes sense considering Gwen’s the only one Jake remembers! Jake knows his history with Gwen, but he has no memory of Gabi or their love story. As a result, Jake’s trying to be logical and ignore any feelings that bubble up for Gabi.
Things could change after the upcoming DNA results, which will likely prove Jake is Stefan. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will plant another kiss right there in the hospital. It sounds like Gabi will be so excited that she just can’t contain how she feels.
Will this rev up the passion on Jake’s end, too? Although Jake will probably push Gabi away again, he may want her more than ever. Just knowing Gabi is technically his wife could intensify Jake’s desires. There’s been a connection from the moment Jake “met” Gabi, even if it was a complicated one.
Once Jake realizes he’s actually Stefan and starts to accept it, we could see the “Stabi” passion we’ve come to expect. Jake aka Stefan may not be able to resist Gabi, even without his memories of her. The attraction between them might be enough until Jake can remember his past with Gabi.
Still, Jake’s feelings for Gwen won’t go away. DOOL may deliver a level playing field eventually, so Jake should have trouble deciding who he really wants to be with. This is shaping up to be an extremely complicated love triangle! We’ll provide updates as other Days news rolls in.
