General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will stand together as they face some dark times. GH viewers know Carly and Jason’s friendship is unbelievably strong, but it could get even stronger thanks to the crisis they’re about to go through.
Carly wants to believe Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is alive – in fact, she simply has to believe that. The alternative is just too hard for Carly to even think about. Carly can’t bear the thought of Sonny being dead and gone forever, so she’s trying to shove that thought right out of her mind.
However, Carly may have to face the unthinkable once the authorities deliver info on Sonny’s ultimate fate. If Sonny is presumed dead, you can bet Carly will lean on Jason to get through this.
Sonny will actually be alive and dealing with memory loss to his injuries elsewhere, but the point is he’ll be off the mob board for a while.
General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) should be tickled pink over Sonny’s deadly ordeal. Cyrus has been plotting to take Sonny out for quite some time, but he didn’t even have to lift a finger in this case.
That should please Cyrus and embolden him to make some dangerous decisions once Sonny isn’t around anymore.
Nevertheless, Jason will work hard to eliminate Cyrus’ threat once and for all. There’ll be a real push from Jason to stop Cyrus’ drug trafficking expansion plans and restore some sense of peace to Port Charles.
Jason will want to stop Cyrus from doing any more damage – and Carly will be in total agreement on taking this guy down.
This should serve as a good distraction for Carly if she’s grieving the loss of Sonny – or at least worried that Sonny could indeed be deceased. Carly will only have the cops’ word to go on, but things are going to look pretty bleak in the coming episodes.
Fortunately, the drama won’t slow down for Jason and Carly. General Hospital spoilers say Carly will help Jason make a bold move against Cyrus – something massive that could backfire spectacularly if it doesn’t work out the way they want.
