General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, May 11 Recap – Chase Crying & Miserable – Nelle Learns Julian Attempted Brad’s Murder

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, May 11, reveal that Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) met with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) at the Quartermaine mansion. Dianne made sure that Michael and Willow were prepared for their testimony in the custody hearing against Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier).

Diane said that Michael and Willow made an excellent team, and that their focus would be on arguing what’s best for Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).

After Diane left, Michael once again broached the possibility with Willow that they could get married. Willow admitted that her situation had changed drastically since the idea was first floated, and Michael said that they could make it a partnership that works.

Willow wondered if Michael could marry someone who would probably never be in love with him. Michael said that they could commit to loving Wiley and respecting each other.

Michael warned Willow that she’d be marring into the Quartermaine and Corinthos families, and that her life would be very different from here on out. Willow said that while this isn’t the marriage she imagined, she had faith that they could make it work. Willow said yes, that she’d marry Michael, and Michael smiled.

Meanwhile, in the interrogation room at the PCPD, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) talked to Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) via phone to ask for a bail out. Ned hung up on Brook Lynn, which Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) found humorous. Brook Lynn then tried to call Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson), but he didn’t answer.

Brook Lynn took her frustrations out on Chase and blasted him for abuse of power and for being a cheater. Chase sighed and said that Brook Lynn was right, then told Brook Lynn to find someone to get her out of lockup, or else she’d spend the night in custody.

Over at Charlie’s Pub, Nelle walked in and spoke to Julian Jerome (William deVry), who said that the establishment was closed when it obviously wasn’t. Nelle said that she was there to make Julian a generous offer from the heart.

Julian balked, but Nelle said that she wanted to offer him a spot in Wiley’s life if he testified on her behalf as a character witness. Julian flat out refused, saying that he’d testify but he’d tell the honest truth.

Nelle tried to persuade Julian, saying that she’d allow him to visit Wiley just as if he was Wiley’s grandfather. Julian again refused, then he got a call from Brook Lynn wanting to be bailed out of jail. Julian took off, and Chase walked in.

Nelle pounced and brought Chase a drink, which he rejected, saying that he didn’t have time for Nelle’s games.

Nelle needled Chase about his breakup from Willow, and she insinuated that she wanted Chase again. Chase called Nelle delusional, but she said that she gets what she wants, and that anyone who underestimates her is the one who’s delusional. Chase left in a huff, and Nelle exited to the ladies’ room.

Back at the PCPD, Julian arrived in the interrogation room, having just bailed out Brook Lynn. Later, the two met back up at Charlie’s Pub, and Julian wondered why Brook Lynn had called him to bail her out. Brook Lynn said that she knew she had leverage on him…which he proved when he showed up to bail him out.

Brook Lynn said if Julian hadn’t helped her, then she’d have been forced to call Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and tell him all about how it was Julian who tampered with the brakes on Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) car and caused the accident that put Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) in a coma. From around the corner, Nelle listened intently.

At Pier 55, Chase looked at the water sadly and took a call from Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). Finn wondered where Chase was, and Chase revealed his location. Finn then dropped by the pier, and Chase lamented about how Willow was gone because he wanted her to go.

Finn said that he saw Willow earlier and that he nearly revealed the truth, but they talked at cross purposes for a moment or two.

Finn thought that Chase should have told Willow the truth, but Chase said that would have been selfish. Chase sipped a beer that Finn brought, and offered a toast. “To Willow, beautiful and kind. The woman I will always love.”

Chase said that he did what he had to do and that this is how he was showing his love for Willow.

Chase told Finn about the first time he ever saw Willow, and how he fell in love with her within the first 10 seconds of meeting her. Chase then asked Finn to go, and the brothers hugged as Chase cried. Finn left, and Chase stood on the pier crying and miserable.
