General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that love will be in the air! The ABC soap will celebrate two popular GH couples, so let’s talk about what you can expect. During the week of June 15-19, we’ll see Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) love story highlighted. Get ready for some blast-from-the-past episodes featuring the highs and lows of “CarSon.”
First, GH fans will see part of the 2007 Metro Court hostage crisis storyline. “Mr. James Craig” aka Jerry Jacks (Sebastiah Roche) wreaks havoc and leaves many Port Charles residents in danger – including Sonny and Carly.
However, there’s a special moment for “CarSon” during all the mayhem. Sonny makes a heartfelt declaration of love to Carly and assures her that she’s his whole world.
Next, there’s an episode from 2013 to talk about. Since Sonny’s no longer taking his meds, he’s spiraling fast and in desperate need of Carly’s help. Carly steps up for Sonny’s sake and urges him to resume his regular doses of lithium.
General Hospital viewers can also expect two 2015 repeats. The first one involves Carly praying and waiting in the GH chapel while Sonny fights to survive after getting shot. Carly reflects on some memorable moments in her history with Sonny, so that should be a treat for “CarSon” shippers.
The second 2015 encore revolves around Carly and Sonny’s wedding, which also took place at the GH chapel. It’s a sweet day for the blissful couple, who are surrounded by the love and light of their family.
The week wraps up with a 2016 episode following Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) death, which leaves Carly blaming Sonny for their horrible loss.
During the week of June 22-26, General Hospital spoilers say a new theme will kick off – but it’ll still be all about complicated love! This time it’ll be Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) love story that gets the focus. “JaSam” fans will want to tune in for all the ups and downs.
First up during Jason and Sam’s romance week, GH takes us back to when Sam met Jason in 2003. Jason and Sam both get arrested over their connection to Sonny – and now we know this led to many years of love between them.
In a somber 2004 episode, Jason’s in agony as he’s forced to tell Sam that her baby died. It brings some heartbreaking moments for both of them.
Next, let’s lighten things up with a water gun fight! General Hospital’s 2005 classic features Jason and Sam’s playful war in Hawaii, so that’ll definitely be a fun one to rewatch.
GH fans can also catch two throwbacks from 2011. The first one involves Jason’s romantic rooftop proposal, which included a chrome nut as a placeholder engagement ring.
Jason pops the question to Sam before marrying her in the second encore from 2011. “JaSam” fans will remember when Jason and Sam got married at the Noodle Buddha restaurant, so don’t miss it if you want to watch again!
