General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may battle some regrets. GH fans know Nina chose to take the stand and completely trash Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) reputation. There was a lot of damage done to Nelle in that courtroom – and much of it was due to Nina’s brutally honest testimony.
However, Nina may wonder if she really did the right thing during the week of August 10-14. General Hospital spoilers say Nina will lean on Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) for support.
Jax may assure Nina that she did what was best for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), but she’ll undoubtedly worry about how her betrayal will affect Nelle.
If Nelle loses this custody battle, she’ll have no motive to change. Nina may feel guilty about potentially sealing Nelle’s fate – although she already expressed to Nelle that she thought she was a lost cause.
That post-hearing faceoff may be something else Nina has remorse over. Nina certainly said some things that were hurtful, and that was never Nina’s goal.
Nina may feel even worse after attending Ava Cassadine’s (Maura West) portrait unveiling at Wyndemere. There’s a good chance Nelle will be there with Julian Jerome (William deVry). Will Nina be rattled by Nelle’s half-heart pendant at this party?
If Nina spots that necklace on Nelle’s neck, she might stammer out some questions about it in shock. Nelle might offer an answer or two, but she’d mostly wonder why Nina would care. If Nina does end up seeing that pendant at this bash, she may keep her bio daughter suspicions to herself.
After all, Nina might feel like she needs to get some proof first. There are plenty of half-heart pendant necklaces in the world, so Nina may try to tell herself there’s no way this is true. What are the odds? Surprisingly good on a soap as it turns out!
General Hospital spoilers confirm that Nelle is indeed Nina’s biological daughter, but Nina’s going to need some evidence. During the week of August 17-21, Nina will join forces with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Could Nina seek Carly’s help to prove that Nelle’s her bio daughter?
Of course, Nina might actually be looking to prove Nelle’s not the real thing – at least at first. Nina might just feel like she needs confirmation for peace of mind. Since Nina may not want to share her suspicions with Nelle, Carly might offer to help get a DNA sample. She could always start a fight and pull a clump of hair out.
Carly would take great pleasure in that, so why not as long as there are no witnesses around? Whatever the case, this storyline should bring some crucial DNA test results eventually. We’ll bring you up to speed as other GH news and updates become available.
