General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) seems to be in for a big downfall soon. As GH viewers know, Peter and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) are planning to marry, and time is of the essence since Maxie is pregnant with their baby.
It looks like Maxie and Peter are going to push for a quick wedding soon, which will likely take place during November sweeps.
Well, if there’s ever going to be a time for Peter’s terrible secrets to be exposed, it would be at his wedding to Maxie.
Peter’s got Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), and Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) are all on a mission to bring Peter down, and it’s looking like Peter could be totally exposed while he’s standing at the altar with Maxie.
That would make for some intense drama, especially if someone Maxie trusts were to offer irrefutable proof of Peter’s murderous ways at the wedding. One can imagine Maxie hearing (for example) a recording of Peter talking about his misdeeds and crimes.
That would be impossible for Peter to refute, and he’d probably have no choice at that point than to come clean.
GH viewers know that Peter is responsible for Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) private jet accident and supposed death, and Peter nearly killed Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Andre Maddox (Anthony Washington) in the OR, after he did kill the henchman that he hired to carry out the murders.
It’s safe to say that once Peter’s crimes are exposed, Maxie will dump him like a hot potato.
In fact, it seems that Peter will have no one to turn to once all of his crimes come out. Even Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will be hard pressed to support Peter when she realizes that he’s a cold-blooded murderer.
But there is one person who probably won’t be bothered by Peter’s past, and that’s the woman who we now know is his actual mother, Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes).
Once Peter crashes and burns and his crimes are exposed, it’s likely that the only person he’ll have in his corner will be Alex. Of course, Alex would have to be careful, since she’s wanted by the WSB, and is currently impersonating Anna.
Now that Alex has captured Anna and has taken her place might she make an attempt to help Peter?
Under normal circumstances, we’d imagine that Peter would reject Alex as his mother, given her history, but since Peter will have literally no support from anyone else, he might just accept Alex’s help and an evil mother/son team could be born.
