General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, April 2, teases that Mike Corbin (Max Gail) will need Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to do something for him. Sonny will get Mike calmed down after that unsettling Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) encounter. Mike thought Brando was dead, so it was a bit unnerving to see him standing there in GH.
However, Sonny will smooth things over and offer Mike a distraction. Sadly, General Hospital spoilers say Mike will continue to struggle and add to Sonny’s pain. After Mike requests a tragic favor, Sonny won’t know if he’s strong enough to get through this. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will encourage Sonny to hang in there, but she’ll have another chat with Brando, too.
Family is obviously quite important to Sonny, so Carly will assure Brando of that. Perhaps Carly will remind Brando that includes him, too. Sonny intends to protect Brando and have his back, so there’ll be trouble if Brando betrays his trust.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will discuss Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). GH fans know Cyrus is set to be released if all goes according to plan. As you can imagine, Laura’s going to flip out and try to put her foot down.
She’ll make it clear to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) that she’s going to lay down the law as mayor, but she should hit some snags.
Over with Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole), she’ll berate Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and point out that her actions have consequences. Jordan will basically act like it’s Molly’s fault that TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) is missing. It sounds like Molly will dig too deep and leave Jordan panicking.
Jordan’s only goal right now is scoring Cyrus’ freedom so she can bring TJ home in one piece. Since Jordan will be tired of dealing with Molly and all her questions, Molly will seek out Brando on Thursday. Brando’s a pretty helpful guy all around, so he should be eager to pitch in.
Next, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will get a confession from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Jason will admit TJ is Cyrus’ captive and that’s the reason the task force is going down.
Sam will offer assistance, but Jason will dismiss that idea immediately. He wants Sam as far away from the Cyrus mess as possible – both for Sam’s safety as well as the safety of the kids.
Sam will put up a fight after Jason’s warning, so there’ll definitely be some clashing in Thursday’s episode. In prison, Cyrus will undergo an evaluation and make a comment that seems rather threatening.
After Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) asks Cyrus about it, he’ll insist Kevin would know if he were being threatened. Cyrus doesn’t mess around when he’s trying to send a message!
Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Ava Jerome (Maura West) will extend her support to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). When Trina rushes in the gallery on Thursday, she’ll still be a total train wreck.
Trina won’t understand why Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) is stirring up this old case and tarnishing Marcus Taggert’s (Real Andrews) memory like this.
Ava will help Trina through another difficult ordeal and strengthen their bond in the process. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) probably won’t be pleased, but at least Trina has someone to lean on! As other GH news rolls in, CDL will have plenty of updates to pass along. Let’s hope Portia can see Ava in a more positive light soon.
