General Hospital Spoilers Update: Friday, October 9 – Dante Keeps Secrets from Sonny – Jason Warns Brando – Ava Helps Angry Trina

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, October 9, teases that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will shake things up as usual. Cyrus isn’t happy if he’s not stirring the pot somehow, so he’ll taunt Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) again and test Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) patience.

As Jordan and Curtis glare at him, Cyrus will hint that if one goes down, so does the other. Although Curtis should step up to defend Jordan, Cyrus will ultimately focus on the business of the day. It turns out there’s a specific case file that Jordan will have to hand over.

Could that be a case file on Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), who’s done time in prison? Could the file belong to Dev Cerci aka “Dev Cerci” (Ashton Arbab), who was taken into custody briefly when he surfaced in Port Charles?

There’s bound to be something Cyrus is looking for – and it could connect to the new employee he wants. Cyrus is eager to bring Brando on board, but he may feel like he needs leverage to move the employment process along.

Of course, Cyrus doesn’t realize Brando actually wants the job for a surprising reason. Brando’s hoping to play Cyrus by acting like he’s a new team member – all while secretly remaining on Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) side.

Sonny isn’t so sure that’s the best plan though, so Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will point that out to Brando on Friday. Whatever Sonny says goes, so Jason will give Brando a warning about that. They just have to wait and see what Sonny’s final call is.

Cyrus is a master at finding weak spots and exploiting them, which means Brando had better be careful. Brando’s plan to be a double agent could turn into truly working for the enemy if things go wrong!

As for Sonny, he’ll enjoy his long-awaited reunion with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Sonny was surprised to see Dante when he popped up after Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) funeral, so he’ll soon have questions.

Dante won’t want to divulge the details of his mission, so he should keep his answers vague. Luckily, Sonny shouldn’t care what brought Dante home. The important thing is that Dante’s back – and Sonny will feel like his son’s timing was perfect.

Since Sonny just said goodbye to Mike, it was a real treat to see Dante’s face moments later.

Next, Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) will get a surprising offer. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) let Dustin move in with her until he could find a new place, but she’ll suggest he should stop looking. Now that Lulu’s had a taste of living with Dustin, she’ll think it’s a great fit.

This is a major couple milestone, but Lulu will feel like they should take the leap. When Lulu asks Dustin to officially move in, he should gladly accept. Since Dante will likely pay Lulu a visit soon, he’ll be in for a shock if Dustin opens the door!

Over with Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), she’ll receive some much-needed guidance from Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). Ava understands how rage can consume you, so she’ll think Trina needs to use her own rage for a good cause.

Trina’s got plenty of anger over Marcus Taggert’s (Real Andrews) death, which GH fans know wasn’t legit. Once Taggert reveals he’s alive down the road, Trina’s sure to face a floor of emotions.

In the meantime, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also have some messy emotions to sort out. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will get the feeling that Joss is trying to wiggle out of some plans.

Josslyn may deny it, but Carly will most likely have the right idea. Perhaps Joss will be trying to dodge Dev since he knows about the kiss with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) or Trina, who also likes Cam.

Joss might even want to avoid Cameron himself since she’ll be feeling so overwhelmed.

Nevertheless, Josslyn will have to tackle her feelings for Cam sooner or later and decide what to do about them. Joss would love to be more than Cameron’s friend, but it’s all pretty complicated.

Speaking of complicated, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will feel like his own love life’s a mess on Friday. Ned let a misunderstanding spiral into a drunken hookup with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

Now Ned’s stuck with a secret and plenty of guilty, which Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) may pick up on.

Monica will definitely want to talk to Ned on Friday’s GH episode, so he’ll gulp and brace for whatever the topic of discussion is. No matter what Monica has to say, Ned will battle his nerves.

Alexis will be nervous as well since she’ll inadvertently clue Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) in on something important.

When Olivia spots Alexis at the Metro Court, she’ll strike up a conversation and realize Alexis knew she’d been out of town. Alexis should manage to cover her mistake, but she’ll know she’s in risky territory.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) may get suspicious as well since she’ll witness Alexis trying to talk her way out of trouble.

General Hospital spoilers say Olivia will get an admission of guilt on Friday – but not from Alexis. Instead, it’ll be Brook Lynn who confesses to erasing Olivia’s voicemail and causing more issues with Ned.

Olivia will probably give Brook Lynn a pass in light of everything she’s been dealing with, but Ned certainly won’t be getting a pass when his own secret comes to light!

Ned’s bound to get busted down the road, so GH will keep building the suspense in the coming episodes. We’ll provide updates as other news becomes available.

General Hospital spoilers say some terrific Ned and Olivia drama’s ahead, so don’t miss all the action. CDL will have all the sizzling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news you’re looking for, so pop back in soon.
