General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, October 14, teases that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) won’t let Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) forget who’s boss. Cyrus will push Jordan to hand over the case information he demanded, but Jordan will probably gripe as usual.
However, Cyrus may toss some threats around and remind Jordan that the safety of her loved ones depends on her cooperation.
While Jordan presumably does what she’s told, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will express her gratitude to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Although Trina Robinson (Sydney Brower) still has issues with Curtis, Portia could never repay him for saving her daughter’s life.
Curtis will make it clear that he’d do anything for Portia and Trina, so he’ll share some warm moments with his former flame.
Jordan will eventually cross paths with Portia, so there may be some tension on both sides. If Jordan senses that Portia and Curtis are getting too close for comfort, that could cause problems on her end.
However, it’s Portia who’ll ultimately lash out and cause a fierce faceoff. Perhaps Portia will complain about how Jordan’s handling – or more precisely NOT handling – Cyrus Renault!
Other General Hospital spoilers say Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will abort her latest mission. After Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) hinted that Anna should come clean, she called up Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and left him a voicemail.
Anna encouraged Peter to come over – apparently so she could drop the bomb that Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) might be his mother.
What Anna doesn’t know is that Peter just got engaged. That’ll change the game in Wednesday’s GH episode since Anna won’t want to drag Peter down from cloud nine. After Peter goes on and on about how happy he is with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), he’ll realize Anna hasn’t revealed why she asked him there.
Anna will abandon her plan to divulge the “Alex may be your mom” shocker, so she’ll have to offer another excuse instead. Maybe Anna will bring up the idea of Peter being one of Finn’s groomsmen, which was something they discussed recently.
As for Maxie, she’ll also be in a blissful state as she shares her engagement news with Mac Scorpio (John J. York). Mac will be stunned at first, but his gaping jaw should turn into a huge grin soon enough. All Mac wants is Maxie’s happiness, so he should wish her a bright future with Peter.
When Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) gets updates on Maxie and Peter’s wedding plans, his hatred for Peter will be on full display. Mac will wonder what Robert’s deal is and try to get to the bottom of why he views Peter as so problematic.
Next, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will likely make another pitch to repair the damage between Finn and Gregory Chase (James Read). Chase may push Finn to patch things up with their dad before Finn’s nuptials, but Finn will allude to the wedding not panning out.
That’ll leave Chase with questions, but Finn may just have his doubts that the big day will come together. There’s also the matter of growing danger since Alex wants to kill the bride!
Over with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane), she’ll deliver a desperate plea to Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken). Brook Lynn will know this isn’t what Amy signed up for, but she’ll really hope Amy’s willing to be her voice.
Amy was OK with recording the promotional song for BLQ, but will she be willing to stand on the sidelines and actually sing for her? That’s the situation Brook Lynn finds herself in now that there’s a glitch with the recording.
It seems like one of two things could happen here. If Amy refuses, Brook Lynn might try to sing some weak notes and tank hard using her own voice. If Amy agrees, Brook Lynn may be VERY out of sync when she tries to lip sync. The latter option would be the most entertaining, so let’s hope that’s what GH goes with!
Regardless, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) may not end up making his deal – and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is partly at fault. Not only did Sasha show up late looking like “roadkill,” she botched the initial presentation and made them all look like a bunch of amateurs.
The fact that Sasha eventually pulled it together and scored them a second chance may not matter much to Lucy.
That’s especially true if things start falling apart due to Brook Lynn’s lip-sync gaffe. Sasha may not think she should be blamed for the recording malfunction or Brook Lynn’s terrible plan.
Lucy might acknowledge that Sasha isn’t entirely to blame, but she set an awful tone for this whole meeting.
The pitch got off to a rocky start from the get-go, so Sasha burned through their second chance before they ever got to this BLQ fiasco. Lucy may think this has happened far too much lately and wonder if Sasha’s really capable of doing her job.
No matter what criticism Sasha gets, she isn’t going to like it – probably because it’ll be true. Sasha’s drug addiction is definitely taking a toll on her work.
Nevertheless, Sasha will be in denial as she rants about how the message has been received. An angry Sasha will storm out, so she might be ready to throw in the towel on this modeling gig – that is if she isn’t fired!
General Hospital spoilers say Sasha will hit rock bottom sooner or later, so stay tuned. CDL will have lots of other scorching General Hospital spoilers, updates and news to check out, so don’t forget to make us your top source.
