Meghan Markle’s Real Feelings Come Out – Hurt She Wasn’t ‘Number One’ In Royal Family?

British royals news reveals that some new details are emerging about why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle felt the need to leave the royal family and embark on their own life in North America.

As royal watchers know, Harry and Meghan stepped away from their royal duties this past spring, and they’re now living in a multi-million-dollar mansion in Los Angeles, away from all the royal drama they wanted to leave behind.

But it seems that the drama is following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, even as they are hunkered down in their mansion with their one-year-old son Archie Harrison. As you might have heard, there’s a new bombshell book called “Finding Freedom” that will hit the shelves in a few days, and excerpts from the book are being published here and there.

Well, “Finding Freedom,” which is an unofficial biography of Harry and Meghan, seems poised to expose a litany of ways that the couple felt wronged by the royal family.

And while the book’s authors claim that Harry and Meghan were not involved in the book (they claimed to rely on close sources to the couple), there is plenty of buzz that Harry and Meghan may have been unofficial contributors.

At any rate, excerpts from the book have claimed that Prince Harry felt slighted by Prince William when he expressed concerns about how quickly Harry’s relationship with Meghan Markle was moving along.

It seems that Harry and Meghan’s feelings were hurt that there wasn’t more of an effort to make Meghan feel welcomed when she entered the royal fold.

Another royal family biographer, Angela Levin, has gone a bit further, claiming recently that Meghan Markle didn’t feel like she was “number one” within the royal family – which would make perfect sense, since Queen Elizabeth as the monarch would necessarily come first.

But it appears that Meghan didn’t like her “place” in the royal family, and that this upset Harry.

This comports with other reports saying that Meghan felt that she came second to Kate Middleton, and it also meshes with statements recently made by Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle. Thomas recently told The Sun that, “I love my daughter, but I really don’t appreciate what she’s become right now.”

Thomas went onto say that the publication of “Finding Freedom” was coming at the worst time – while people everywhere are suffering and dying from the coronavirus pandemic – and that people just don’t want to hear Meghan and Harry “whining” and complaining about their own woes when they’re arguably among the most privileged people in the world.

At any rate, we should get more insight into Meghan Markle’s true feelings about her time as a senior working royal in the days to come, as more details from “Finding Freedom” drop. Stick with CDL for more on this developing story, and for up to date British royals news and updates.
