Meghan Markle’s Selfish Royal Gaffe Exposed – Announced Pregnancy At Princess Eugenie’s Wedding?

British royals news reveals that Meghan Markle may have made a huge misstep back at the wedding of Princess Eugenie in 2018. As you may recall, Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank on October 12, 2018, and according to the authors of a new book called “Royals At War,” Meghan Markle decided to disclose her pregnancy to the rest of the royal family at that very event.

Well, as one might imagine, that was a move that the book’s authors say didn’t go down well with some members of the family. The authors Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett say that Prince Harry wasn’t happy with the timing of the announcement, and that it was a serious embarrassment for him, since it was not the time to steal the limelight from the bride.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their official announcement to the public that they were expecting their first child on October 15, 2018 – just three days after Princess Eugenie’s wedding.

So, the book’s allegation here is that Meghan chose to inform the royal family about her pregnancy at the wedding, which wouldn’t seem to be the time nor place for such an announcement.

Yet, other sources indicate that the book’s allegation isn’t quite right. Harpers Bazaar previously reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did NOT tell their family the news about the pregnancy at Princess Eugenie’s wedding. Its source claims that the royal family – including Princess Eugenie – knew about Meghan’s pregnancy before the wedding.

It seems that this source claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have received some congratulations from their family at Princess Eugenie’s wedding, since it was the first time that they had all gathered since Meghan found out she was pregnant.

So, yes, the family may have certainly talked about Meghan’s pregnancy at the event, but Meghan may not have actually announced the pregnancy there.

Still, there was a lot of talk at the time that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shouldn’t have announced Meghan’s pregnancy so close to the time of Princess Eugenie’s wedding. It seems that everyone has their opinions on the matter, but whether or not it was really a big gaffe on Meghan’s part seems to be in dispute.

At any rate, it seems as if there was certainly a lot of chatter about the pregnancy at Princess Eugenie’s wedding, and some might consider that in and of itself to be inappropriate, given that the focus should have been on the bride on her big day. There are no doubt some who feel that Harry and Meghan should have waited until after Princess Eugenie’s wedding to tell even their family about the pregnancy.

What do you think? Was it inappropriate for Prince Harry & Meghan Markle to disclose their pregnancy so close to Princess Eugenie’s wedding day? Be sure to check back here at CDL for more British royals news and updates.
