The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) a fighting a battle that she just can’t win. B&B fans know Sally’s convinced that she can make Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) love her again. Sally wants Wyatt back so badly that she’s willing to lose all sense of dignity and pretend she’s dying.
Seriously, why would Sally want Wyatt if she has to fake a terminal illness to make him feel something? The Bold and the Beautiful is making Sally look downright pathetic – and many fans aren’t happy about it! Where’s the real Sally? Because this isn’t her!
Nevertheless, this is the storyline B&B’s chosen. On the bright side, there’s still a way for the show to spin this in the end. If they’re going to take this bad girl route with Sally, they should at least make her an independent bad girl who doesn’t have to rely on some man – especially one who’s in love with someone else.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say this plot’s bound to backfire, so what happens after Sally loses all hope for a “Wally” reunion? Will Sally shift gears and turn against Wyatt? It would make sense considering how Sally’s already been burned.
Sally really shouldn’t be working so hard to get Wyatt back since he’s just not worth it. However, it might be fun to watch Sally put that same energy into making Wyatt miserable! Sally’s revenge for her heartache could be entertaining to watch.
Of course, Sally would want to target Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) as well. They’d be a package deal as far as Sally’s concerned. The story’s set up for Flo to keep Wyatt and for Sally to once again be the loser in love. That doesn’t mean Sally has to sit back and accept the outcome.
Sally may eventually make peace with the fact that Wyatt doesn’t want to be with her. Once she does that, Sally may also determine that Wyatt and Flo shouldn’t be happy either. At least Sally wouldn’t look so desperate in a story like that.
Many Bold and the Beautiful fans wanted Sally to be a heroine, but she could be fun as a vixen, too – just as long as she’s a strong, self-sufficient one and not this needy mess we’re seeing right now!
Regardless, Sally will need a new plan after this terminal illness plot crashes and burns. Let’s hope that new plan involves a little more self-respect and a better path for Sally.
