The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will eventually have a chance to react to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) betrayal. Once Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) learns the shocking truth, one of the first people she turns to should be her mom.
Naturally, Brooke is sure to be horrified – especially since this isn’t the first time Liam’s waffled between Hope and Steffy. The question is: Will Brooke forgive Liam for hurting his daughter and support a “Lope” reunion?
Brooke has been through her fair share of ups and downs with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), so she knows a thing or two about reuniting. However, sometimes it’s different when it comes to your daughter. Brooke knows what her own heart can stand, but she may be more careful with Hope’s.
If Hope can’t trust Liam, how can Brooke trust him? How can either one of them really know for sure that Liam won’t just drift back to Steffy again? Brooke’s a big believer in the power of destiny since she feels Ridge is hers, but she may wonder if Hope’s destiny is with someone else.
Since Hope may give up on her marriage, Brooke may support that decision. She might feel like Hope will find somebody special who loves her and only her someday. Brooke could easily give Hope a “plenty of fish in the sea” type of speech and suggest that the perfect man is out there waiting.
Of course, Brooke could easily go into panic mode if Hope and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) start getting too close. Although Brooke may agree that Hope should move on from Liam, that doesn’t mean she’ll support Hope and Thomas becoming a B&B couple.
Could Brooke take it upon herself to play Cupid for Hope? What if Brooke does a little matchmaking and tries to push Hope toward someone else?
Enter John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan)! Think about it. Finn is a handsome doctor with strong morals – and he’ll be dealing with the same betrayal that Hope’s dealing with.
Brooke might determine that Finn would be the ideal match for Hope, especially if Finn dumps Steffy as expected. Part of Brooke might even do this as a little revenge on Steffy and Liam!
If Brooke plays matchmaker for Hope and Finn, that could cause some drama in her own marriage to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). There’d be great potential in a Bold and the Beautiful story like this, so we’ll see how it all plays out.
