The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that an opportunity may fall right into Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) lap – and how he handles it may prove whether Thomas has truly changed or not. B&B fans know Thomas is incredibly sorry for going off the rails with all the mannequin drama, but none of that was his fault.
Thomas’ brain trauma was the culprit, and he insists the changes he was making beforehand were genuine. Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) means the world to Thomas, so he doesn’t want her to be afraid of him or feel like he doesn’t respect her.
Thankfully, Thomas is on the mend – and Hope understands that his Hope doll confusion had a medical explanation.
Now B&B just has to show us what kind of man Thomas will be moving forward. Can Thomas stay on this positive, contrite path and prove he’s truly turned his life around? The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas could be put to the test down the road.
Thomas will inevitably comfort Hope in the aftermath of Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) cheating revelation. Hope will need someone to lean on, so Thomas may be that person for her. Thomas certainly cares about Hope and won’t want to see her in pain.
Although Thomas will blame himself for starting this mess, Hope may argue that Liam and Steffy made their own choices. We might also see Hope looking for a quick and easy strategy to move on. Hope will be vulnerable and in agony, so she may make her move with Thomas.
It’s safe to say Hope won’t be thinking clearly or even acting like herself for that matter. Hope will just want to stop hurting, so she may think Thomas can help in more ways than one.
If Hope initiates a kiss or even hints at taking it a step further, that’d fit with The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers about Hope having the expected reaction and then doing something not so expected.
If Hope basically throws herself at Thomas, he’ll have a chance to have the woman of his dreams – right then and there. The old Thomas would sleep with Hope in a heartbeat, but maybe the new Thomas could show real growth.
If Thomas has truly changed as he claims, he may have to pass the ultimate test by rejecting vulnerable Hope. Thomas might admit he desperately still wants Hope – but not like this. That’s especially true if Hope consumes any alcohol following the betrayal bomb.
The only way for a Hope and Thomas pairing to work legitimately is if Thomas plays fair. He has to show fans he can be a good guy! Thomas could prove himself by rejecting tipsy, heartbroken Hope’s advances.
He’d be putting Hope first and giving her an opportunity to decide for herself what she wants once she’s got a clearer head.
