John Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) accurate perceptions, Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) alertness, and the Forrester family’s awareness indicate that a labored arc isn’t forthcoming.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and even Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) all know that Thomas is unbalanced. Just being aware of the actions he’s taken in recent years allows his family to know that mental health treatment is required.
Chats with his mom over the phone have proven to be meaningless, yet he’s apparently using that communication as a sole form of therapy.
So, why hasn’t Thomas been made to meet with a psychiatrist, who would have surely diagnosed his paranoid schizophrenic condition and recommended, or enforced treatment? Well, that would have prevented the drama fans have seen him create.

Okay, so B&B has been asking viewers to deeply suspend disbelief where Thomas is concerned and then to sustain that altered view of reality since Atkinson became the Thomas recast in 2019. Well, it can be argued that the results of that strategic decision have been terrific.
Buying into the outrageous has allowed willing soap fans to live inside Thomas’ bent mind. Atkinson’s performances have been hands-down outstanding, which has served to allow Thomas to be simultaneously villainous and vulnerable. That’s hard to write, produce, and deliver, but it’s been done.

Thomas could reveal what he’s been thinking and seek help on his own? No, that’s not likely and wouldn’t go along with the developing storyline that’s being presented. In fact the B&B buzz is that a tragic outcome could await Thomas.
Instead, fans are wondering whether a supporter or an adversary will learn the truth and how that shocker will be handled. Here’s hoping that Atkinson is allowed to run toward Thanksgiving as the latest memorable storyline that centers on this great character deserves to be fully played out.
