The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, September 4, teases that Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will check on Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) once again – and he won’t like the state he finds his patient in. Of course, Steffy’s quickly become far more than just a patient to Finn. He cares about Steffy and will prove it in Friday’s B&B episode.
Finn will be more than willing to lend a sympathetic ear, which is great since Steffy could really use one. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) means well and actually makes some good points, but his tough love approach may not be what Steffy needs right now. It’s stressing Steffy out and making things worse.
Finn’s got a gentle heart and certainly won’t harp on Steffy when she needs support. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will want to be there for Steffy – not just as her doctor, but as her friend. B&B fans can expect the connection between Steffy and Finn to grow stronger. Steffy trusts Finn and will appreciate how he’s going out of his way to help her.
It’s great that The Bold and the Beautiful is focusing on a foundation of friendship, but this is obviously poised to become something more eventually. Finn’s attracted to Steffy inside and out; it’s plain to see whenever they interact. Steffy’s attracted to Finn as well, but she’s also dealing with a mountain of physical and emotional pain.
Finn will realize the depth of Steffy’s agony on Friday, so that’ll bring some intense moments between them. Steffy will sense that she’s drawing Finn closer, so she’ll hope she can use that to her advantage. Since Steffy’s out of prescription painkillers, she’ll decide to ask Finn for another refill. Friday’s cliffhanger might involve a pensive Finn preparing to respond.
Whatever the case, Finn’s answer is indeed coming soon – and it’ll be a hard “no.” Finn’s doctor side will have to take the lead here, so Steffy will have a desperate meltdown by the time Monday rolls around. Until then, let’s talk about Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and some advice he’ll receive from dear old Dad. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will push Liam to face the facts in Friday’s episode.
Liam is coparenting Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) with Steffy, which was going well up until recently. B&B fans know Steffy had an explosive outburst when Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) showed up sans Kelly at the cliff house. Liam doesn’t know about that yet, but he’s concerned about Steffy and doesn’t want her to feel threatened as Kelly’s mom.
However, Bill may feel like some conflict’s inevitable under the circumstances. Liam will always have to split his time between his two families. There’s also the matter of Liam’s waffling history to consider. Bill may feel like there’ll forever be an unspoken competition between Hope and Steffy, even though they aren’t fighting over Liam anymore. Now it’s Kelly who’s becoming the rivalry fuel.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will take Bill’s words to heart, so he may accept that things are complicated – and that’s never going to change.
