The Young and the Restless spoilers has some great news to pass on about an upcoming return to the CBS soap. Christel Khalil, who portrays Lily Winters, will be back on canvas starting on the episode airing on Friday, March 13th. That’s great news for Y&R fans, and the news gets better, since Lily will be appearing on the show for an extended period of time.
As Y&R viewers know, Lily pops in from time to time to visit with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and catch up with her family and friends in Genoa City. During her last visit, she had a memorable run-in with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and she also had a conversation with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) while he was going through a dark time.
Well, according to Y&R spoilers, Lily will take a position at Chancellor Industries and will end up working with Billy there. That can only mean one thing – that Billy will wind up taking his mom Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) up on her job offer. It’s really what Billy needs right about now – he’s been wanting a fresh start and perhaps he’ll find some solace getting back to work and interacting with his friend Lily.
Of course, just how long Lily remains working at Chancellor remains to be seen. Her portrayer, Christel Khalil, is reportedly not on contract, but she will be on-screen for longer than her more recent visits have been.
As Y&R viewers will remember, Lily’s life changed completely after she was responsible for the car accident that claimed the life of Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) and her unborn baby. She was ultimately sent to prison, which changed her perspective on life and in part led to her divorce from Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard).
But now that Cane is off-screen and there’s seemingly no future for the two of them, will Lily need to find a love interest in Genoa City? She mentioned to Jill on her last visit to town that she was dating again, but will she have found someone special already? Or might sparks fly between her and Billy once they start working together at Chancellor?
At any rate, it will be great to see Lily back on canvas. Are you looking forward to seeing Lily back in action? Stay tuned to the Young and the Restless and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Y&R news.
