General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may not be able to avoid more WSB drama.
Jason managed to walk away from a Jakarta black site thanks to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), but that doesn’t mean he’s done dealing with the bureau.
Agent William Baines (Alimi Ballard) may have just offered a huge clue about where Jason’s storyline is headed next.
After all, Jason will need some sort of new direction now that he’s ditched the mob and no longer has a relationship with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Jason wants to focus on being the best father he can be, but that may not be possible if the WSB drags him into more trouble.
Although Jason was able to leave the mob world, he may not be able to escape the bureau and whatever mission they might force him into.
In GH’s September 21 episode, Agent Baines told Jason that the WSB hoped he was enjoying his freedom now that he was back home.
However, Baines’ follow-up comment made it sound like that freedom was contingent on Jason’s WSB cooperation.
If the WSB needs Jason again, Baines said they trusted that Jason would be available.
That sounded like a way to remind Jason that the bureau is calling the shots and that he could get pulled back into chaos at any moment.
There’s a good chance the WSB will indeed deliver some shocking orders to Jason sooner or later.
Jason may have to go along with whatever they say if he wants to avoid vanishing and getting thrown into another pit somewhere.
The organization tends to make any moves they want to make without consequences, so they could threaten Jason and even Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) if need be.
Jason just wants to live a quiet life with his son, but the bureau may have bigger plans for him.
The show has been shifting from mob-centric stories to ones that involve the WSB instead.
It looks like that trend will continue, so Jason may have to tackle a stunning assignment at some point in the months ahead.
