The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, June 19, tease that viewers will see an encore episode of that originally aired on March 18, 2013. The episode will center around the wedding of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and the danger that surrounds the day.
The danger will come from Congressman Marcus Wheeler (Mark Pinter), who will enlist a henchman named “Bob” to make sure that the “Belinda Rogan mess” goes away, and since Victor knows about Marcus’ involvement in that mess, Victor will need to be dealt with. Marcus will tell Bob that he needs to leave town after the “job” is done.
Meanwhile, at the tack house, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will talk with Avery Clark (Jessica Collins) ahead of the wedding. Nick will learn about how Leslie Michaelson Shelby (Angell Conwell) is trying to help overturn her dad’s conviction, and he won’t be pleased about that. Nick will have a bad feeling about Marcus and his interest in the case.
Over at Jabot, Ashely Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will make a surprise appearance. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be thrilled to see his sister after so much time. The siblings will have much to discuss – Jack will apologize for how he treated her previously, saying that he honesty thought that John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) would have been proud of him for taking over Newman Enterprises. Ashley will be glad that Jack walked away from Newman.
Ashley won’t express happiness about Jack’s relationship with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), however. Ashely will quickly realize that Jack’s planning on taking Phyllis on a trip to Istanbul, and she’ll balk, thinking it’s too early in Jack’s recovery for that. Phyllis will walk in and overhear Ashley’s words, which will lead to a confrontation between the two women.
Meanwhile, various couples will be preparing at their respective residences for Nikki and Victor’s wedding. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will experience some friction as they’re getting ready, with Lauren recoiling from Michael touch as he tries to put a necklace on her.
And over at Billy Abbott (Billy Miller) and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) place, Victoria will caution Billy not to try to get revenge on Victor today, since she really wants her mother to be happy. Once Victoria leaves, Billy will call someone, clearly having something in the works for the wedding.
But Billy will actually have a wonderful surprise for Nikki up his sleeves. Later, Billy will show up at the wedding site with a surprise guest – it will be Reed Hellstrom (Max Page). Everyone will be happy to see Reed, especially Nikki, who will love to have her grandson there at the wedding.
Meanwhile, another guest from afar will show up – Eric Forrester (John McCook), who will have designed Nikki’s wedding down. Eric will share a sweet conversation with Summer Newman (Hunter King) about Nikki’s gown and about Forrester Creations. Michael and Lauren will offer their condolences on Eric’s recent loss of Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) as well.
Soon, it will be time for the wedding ceremony, and Bob will wind up being one of the servers at the event. Nikki will walk down aisle to greet Victor, and their beautiful ceremony will take place. During the ceremony, Victor and Nikki will tell their guests about their “new age” ceremony while Nikki was in the hospital. Victor and Nikki will say their vows and exchange rings in an emotional scene.
Finally, the officiant will bless the rings and declare Nikki and Victor husband and wife, while Bob moves into the doorway at the back of the room, then steps ominously into the room.
