The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will get more help from Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) over the next two weeks. Y&R fans know Jack turned to Lauren recently in hopes of finding Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) missing “teardrop of love” emerald.
Since the necklace wound up with Lauren’s father, she’ll plan to look through the contents of an old safe deposit box of his once it’s sent from London. Of course, there’s no guarantee the emerald will turn up in that delivery, but Jack will appreciate the effort either way.
His latest conversations with Lauren are great reminders of their friendship and how much they care about each other.
Y&R will continue that trend when Lauren helps Jack once again during the week of October 12-16. Whether that involves the necklace hunt or something else, Jack will once again be grateful to Lauren.
Then, the week of October 19-23 will bring some struggles for the Abbott family. Following Dina’s death, there’ll be some issues that leave the Abbotts feeling divided.
However, Lauren will swoop in and save the day. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lauren will step up and try to promote a sense of unity during this difficult time. Lauren will obviously comfort Jack as he grieves as well, so this will strengthen their connection even further.
Naturally, this raises suspicions about where Y&R writers are going with Lauren’s involvement. It’s possible the show’s just giving Lauren something to do, but it seems more like a story plan.
Y&R fans may recall that last year brought similar bonding between Jack and Lauren. In fact, The Young and the Restless spoilers heavily hinted at the possibility of a cheating storyline.
That storyline was obviously dropped for whatever reason, but that doesn’t it mean it won’t come back around. Is that why Lauren’s suddenly becoming so involved in Jack’s life? There’s been a lot of talk about Jack finding love again, so he might revisit his history with Lauren.
Jack’s going to be emotional as he deals with Dina’s passing, so that could leave him quite drawn to Lauren as a steady, caring source of support.
Notice that there’s no mention of Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) in any of this! Is poor Michael going to get cheated on?
There’s a chance Y&R may be building to a betrayal, so it’ll be interesting to see if Lauren and Jack’s connection leads to temptation. We’ll provide updates as other news emerges.
