The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will find himself in familiar territory. When Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) first returned to town, Rey quickly grew concerned about Adam and Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) close bond. “Shadam’s” intense connection and history left Rey with plenty of insecurities.
In fact, Rey was willing to break up with Sharon over those insecurities. Although Rey and Sharon ultimately found their way back to each other, Adam was the reason they were torn apart. It turns out Adam just might be the reason once again!
Rey’s not going to be happy once Sharon starts serving as Adam’s therapist. This should lead to a showdown between Rey and Adam, so Rey may think Sharon’s ex should find someone else to help him tackle his problems.
There are tons of great therapists in Genoa City and its surrounding areas. Rey may not see why it has to be Sharon who helps – unless there’s another reason Adam’s turning to her.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey will battle doubts about Adam’s motives. Rey might feel like this is about more than trying to get to the bottom of Adam’s childhood trauma. Adam will claim that’s his only goal, but Rey may believe this is really about getting close to Sharon.
Sharon seems like Adam’s security blanket in a way. When Adam’s life starts spinning out, it’s Sharon he wants by his side. Of course, Sharon’s life is already spinning out and has been for quite some time due to her breast cancer battle. The last thing Rey wants is for Adam to add to the drama she’s facing.
Rey’s jealousy is also going to be an issue, so Y&R’s setting the stage for a powerful fight. Adam and Rey will indeed face off soon – and Sharon will be at the center of the conflict. We’ll keep bringing you updates as other Y&R news emerges.
