The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tracey Bregman Returns To Taping At Y&R – Lauren Baldwin’s New Storylines

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that a fan-favorite actress has returned to the Y&R set. Tracey Bregman, who portrays Lauren Baldwin on the CBS soap, reported on social media that she reported for work on Friday, September 4, for the first time since Y&R resumed taping after the shutdown. This is great news for fans, and it’s exciting to think about the possibilities of how Lauren might fit into some storylines.

Tracey posted news about her return on her Instagram Stories, where she posted a photo of herself at the CBS Studios along with the following message: “So happy to be back at my home away from home @youngandrestlesscbs.”

Given that Tracey is back at work now, that means that she should be seen on screen in about four weeks, which will be great to see.

We could see Lauren pop up to support Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) as she prepares to give birth to her baby. As Y&R viewers will remember, Chloe and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) are expecting their new baby boy soon, and Lauren and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) are the baby’s doting aunt and uncle, so we might see Lauren on hand for the baby’s birth.

Of course, before the shutdown, Lauren and Michael welcomed a visit by their son, Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin (Zack Tinker). Perhaps once Lauren is back on canvas with Michael, we’ll get an update on what Fen has been up to. Last we saw Fen, he was doing quite well in his recovery from drug addiction and was forging a new life for himself outside of Genoa City.

Another possibility is that Lauren could get a visit from someone very familiar. As you might have heard, Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra, B&B) will be joining the Young and the Restless soon.

As long-time viewers of both shows know, Lauren was a long-time colleague and friend of the elder Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley), and so it’s always possible that Courtney Hope could be reprising her role of the younger Sally on Y&R.

If that’s the case, it would make perfect sense for Courtney Hope’s Sally to show up on Lauren’s doorstep wanting some assistance or maybe even a job designing in conjunction with Fenmore’s. We’ll see what happens here, but it would be a great way to see more of Lauren on canvas, which we’d love.

As Tracey Bregman heads back to work at CBS, she’ll have to deal with the various COVID-19 precautions that are in place at the studio. Tracey’s colleague Beth Maitland, who portrays Traci Abbott, has been back at the studio for a while now and recently commented about the strict safety regulations that the actors and crew have been following.

Beth posted a cute picture of her cat yawning, along with the following caption: “Had a great day at work. Pandemic protocols are stressful, but we must move forward. Grateful. Sleepy. Abu says it all. Nighty night. @youngandrestlesscbs #grateful.” It sounds like there’s a lot of rigmarole involved with the pandemic protocols, but of course it’s all geared to keep everyone safe.

We wish Tracey all the best as she’s back at work on the CBS soap, and we’re excited to see what’s coming for her character! Don’t forget to check CDL frequently for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates, and news.
