General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) will need someone to lean on in the coming months. GH writers gave Brook Lynn a throat injury for a reason. Brook Lynn’s been focused on her singing career ever since she returned to town – and now she seems poised to lose her chance at superstardom.
Of course, Brook Lynn’s pushing Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) away, so he may not be the one to help Brook Lynn through this. Brook Lynn also crashed and burned after kissing Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson), so he’s not the right supporter either.
GH might keep Brook Lynn as a possibility for Dustin after Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) comes home and ultimately reunites with Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan).
Even so, a “Lante” reunion is a long way off. Dustin’s about to get more serious with Lulu, so Brook Lynn needs someone else to lean on – someone like Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) recently paid Brook Lynn a visit and forced her to listen, which was pretty easy considering Brook Lynn can’t talk right now. Sasha assured Brook Lynn that Chase was a good guy – although she added that he’s not the guy for her. It was almost like Sasha was handing her potential love interest over to Brook Lynn.
From a writing standpoint, Sasha was perhaps passing the Chase baton and setting up a new pairing. Meanwhile, Chase listened in on Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) conversation in the park. That let Chase know he couldn’t come clean – not when Michael and Willow’s feelings are growing.
Chase overheard about the “Millow” kiss and about how they intend to get to know each other better. It seems like Chase has accepted the situation, which is the first step toward moving on. Will Brook Lynn be the one Chase moves on with?
Chase has arrested Brook Lynn multiple times, but the tension has finally lifted. He shared some cute scenes with Brook Lynn at GH, so something could be brewing. There’s arguably some onscreen chemistry between Josh Swickard and Briana Lane’s Brook Lynn.
Since General Hospital’s going with Willow and Michael for a while, there’s no reason Chase has to be all alone. It might be fun to watch Chase fall for someone with a little more edge than Willow.
Brook Lynn still has a good heart underneath – as evidenced by how she put her recovery on the line to save Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Brook Lynn should soon be desperate for comfort over her singing career going up in smoke, so maybe Chase is just the person to console her. Now that the “Chillow” door has seemingly closed for now, Chase has an opportunity to put Willow behind him and let new love bloom with Brook Lynn.
