The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, March 24 Review – Tessa Takes Mariah Back – Theo Uses Kendra To Plot Kyle’s Demise

The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Tuesday, March 24, tease that Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Tanner Watts (Chase Coleman) will talk on the private jet as they’re grounded before takeoff. Tessa will note that her career is going great, but that her relationship has fallen apart. Tanner will walk out and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will appear. Tessa will be chilly toward Mariah, saying that she’s crashing her space.

Tessa will go on, insisting that there is no “us” anymore, but Mariah will say that she’s not giving up without a fight. Mariah will accuse Tessa of still being in love with her, and she’ll recite lyrics from their song, which Tessa won’t like. Tessa will bring up Mariah’s cheating, and Mariah will say that she did it because she stupidly thought that Tessa had cheated on her.

Mariah will tell Tessa that she’ll walk away right now if Tessa can look her in the eye and deny their love. Tessa won’t be able to do it, but she’ll tell Mariah that Mariah made her believe that a relationship could mean something…then she saw Mariah with another woman. Tessa will call Mariah “mediocre” and Mariah will say that she’s flawed and that she’ll make more mistakes, but never that same mistake again.

Both women will be crying at this point, and Mariah will say that she loves everything about them – even their old sofa bed. That will make Tessa smile a little. Mariah will beg Tessa to take this leap with her, and Tessa will say that if Mariah breaks this again, then it’s irreparable. Mariah will realize what Tessa is saying, and Tessa will reach out for Mariah’s hand. Mariah and Tessa will embrace, both crying.

Meanwhile, on the new episode of Y&R on Tuesday, March 24, Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will try to work at Jabot, but talk will soon turn to their plans for the evening. Summer will tease that they should watch TV and fall asleep like an old married couple, which will prompt Kyle to remind her that it was a year ago today that they got married. Summer will balk, saying that it doesn’t feel right to celebrate it, considering that Kyle is married to someone else.

Kyle will promise to call Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) soon and get the divorce papers rolling. Kyle and Summer will then talk about their future, with Kyle imagining that he becomes sole CEO of Jabot and Summer takes over Newman Enterprises. Kyle will conjure a story about how they eventually merge companies and form a conglomerate. Summer and Kyle will decide that they should celebrate their future, and they’ll go back to Kyle’s hotel room and make love.

Over at Society, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will show up as Lola is on the phone with the gas company. Turns out, there will be a problem with the gas lines, and Theo will try to fix it, but in the process, he’ll end up bursting a water pipe. Theo will want to make it up to Lola, and she’ll say that he will when he takes her to New York City for their date. He’ll want to take Lola to dinner now, and when she refuses, he’ll head to the kitchen.

There, Theo will get to work on preparing perogies from his mother’s recipe. Lola will relate to Theo’s story about cooking with his mother, and she’ll respond with a story about growing up cooking in her grandmother’s kitchen. Theo and Lola will share having similar feelings of “wanting more” as they were growing up, even though they came from different cities and cultures.

Lola will talk about her dream to have a restaurant in Miami, and how she’ll want it to feel like home. They’ll dine on the perogies at the bar and flirt a little bit, but Lola will make sure to get the message across that she’s not looking for anything serious right now – after all, she and Kyle are barely separated. They’ll decide to find somewhere between “seduction” and “serious” and will be about to kiss when Kyle’s assistant Kendra comes in.

Lola will immediately recognize Kendra, and Kendra will hand over a file to Theo. Lola will wonder if Kyle and Theo are working together on a project. Theo will cover, saying that it’s about work, and that he’s trying to go above and beyond for the boss. Theo will walk Kendra out, and as he does, he’ll tell her to keep the information coming, and that he’ll take care of her when he’s in charge.

Of course, this plan of Theo’s could very well backfire on him, especially if Lola ever finds out about it. Really, Theo’s only real shot with Lola at this point is to demonstrate that he’s really an honest and upstanding guy, and if he continues to go down this road with Kendra, it could all backfire on him, especially if Kyle or Summer realize that Theo is up to something.
