The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of March 9-13 teases that we’ll see some bold risks and backstabbing as the action heats up. For starters, let’s talk about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) growing bond. The more time Billy spends with Amanda, the better he feels. There’s just something about Amanda that Billy can connect with.
Billy will feel like there’s a reason they’re drawn to each other. He’ll want to ditch this whole notion of being friends and just see what might happen. They’ll never know unless they go for it! After Billy initiates a kiss, Amanda will mull it over for a moment. She’ll eventually decide to kiss back – this time more passionately than before. They’ll share some sizzling hot scenes in the week ahead.
Once Billy and Amanda part ways, will they be on the same page about their make-out session? We know Billy will have a surprising realization after this kiss. He clearly expects things to click with Amanda, so it would be surprising if he just wasn’t feeling the lip lock.
Then again, maybe the realization will be less about the kiss and more about who Billy is as a person. He may realize that when you communicate like adults, wonderful things can happen. Billy shut Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) out constantly and continues to shut out many of his family members. He doesn’t shut out Amanda – and now something good is happening.
It’d be beneficial for Billy to realize communication is key. That’s certainly an option to consider if Billy’s quite into the kiss. It could lead him to seek more and spark a hot hookup with Amanda at some point. However, it all depends on how Amanda feels about it. If she’s not on the same page about their chemistry, we could be dealing with a very different story.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will explode over Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) sudden decision. He’ll be all set to score the CEO position at Newman Enterprises, but Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will decide he wants it at the last minute. Since Nick is Victor’s new golden boy, “The Moustache” will drop Adam like a hot potato!
Adam will unleash his wrath and argue that Victor played him. He’ll feel like his father just used him to force Nick into taking the throne. Later, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will want to help Adam seek vengeance. She’ll be committed to making sure Adam comes out on top.
Y&R’s weekly promo shows Chelsea insisting, “If you want that chair as CEO, I am gonna help you get there.” Of course, Adam has talked about a Dark Horse revival, so he may end up going a different route. Maybe it’d be better to destroy Newman Enterprises entirely.
Nick will definitely expect Adam to come after the company. The Young and the Restless spoilers, news and updates say Victor won’t be worried. He’ll assure Nick that Adam will fail, but never underestimate the power of a vengeful Newman.
