Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, February 8, tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will keep himself busy with a special project at the DiMera mansion. It looks like Chad will paint the kids’ rooms and hold out hope that his family will all be under the same roof again soon.
Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will have some words of wisdom for Chad as he waits for Abigail to find forgiveness in her heart. It’ll be quite some time before Abigail can move past Chad’s betrayal and lack of trust, but she’ll indeed move home with the children later in the week.
Until then, let’s talk about a new job offer for Kate. Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will have a big pitch to make in Monday’s DOOL episode. Since Kate’s been so helpful to inexperienced CEO Jake, he should have an official role in mind for her at DiMera Enterprises.
While Kate mulls over that offer, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will have a different one for Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Jake turned down Gabi’s business proposal, but Gabi will hope she’ll have better luck with Xander at Titan Industries. Unfortunately, Xander won’t be at Titan for much longer!
Gabi will do her best to sell Xander on the benefits of her Gabi Chic proposition, but Xander will question his future after Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) next move.
Days spoilers state that Victor will be back from “Philly” with some positive updates. It sounds like Victor will deliver good news about working things out with the Vital mob family, but what about Philip’s many mistakes?
Philip will once again apologize as he hands over his resignation letter to Victor. Since Victor will feel like Philip’s truly sorry and on a better path, it seems he’ll reject the resignation and give his son a pass for his actions. Naturally, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander’s going to blow his top!
This will lead to Xander making a huge decision and announcing it once Tuesday rolls around. Xander’s set to quit and figure out a new career path for himself based on February sweeps info, so Gabi will be dealing with Philip eventually.
Meanwhile, Days fans will see Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) reach out to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Jack will pour his heart out with an apology and hope he can find some sort of new beginning with Gwen. None of what happened is Jack’s fault, but he’ll still be sorry for the hard life Gwen’s had.
Jack will assure Gwen that he would’ve helped if he’d known about her – and he’ll let it slip that Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) was the one who sent checks to Tiffany Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). It’ll hit Gwen hard when she realizes Laura’s the person she should’ve been blaming all this time.
Gwen will fume over Abigail’s grandmother making Jack’s problem go away behind his back. As for Jack, he’ll want to make a deal. If Gwen will stop targeting Abigail, then Jack will do whatever it takes to make things up to his new daughter.
Gwen will struggle to agree to that since she resents Abigail so much, but she may promise to think about it.
Over with Laura, she’ll have a heated encounter with Kate. Days of Our Lives spoilers say difficult memories will come rushing back, so look for Kate and Laura to have a major faceoff.
Afterward, Laura will make her way to Gwen’s hotel room, but it’s a decision she’ll soon come to regret! Gwen and Laura’s showdown will take a dangerous turn later in the week, so stay tuned to DOOL.
