Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks, October 18 to October 25, tease that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will try to make a Bayview block – and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will face a surprising reunion. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will also demand mob answers while Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) delivers an invite, so let’s discuss what’s coming up.
During the week of October 18-22, Marlena will give Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) the green light to make his possession film. John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will be left scratching his head in the aftermath and will later end up on a mission to find possession evidence.
After the devil fully inhabits Marlena’s mind and body, it’ll be time to focus on a growing threat.
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will be desperate to see Doug Williams (Bill Hayes), so she’ll start making fierce demands. Julie will also notice the coldness in Marlena’s eyes, so the devil will have to cover.
Possessed Marlena will land at Bayview in hopes of blocking Julie and keeping a lid on Doug’s devil talk. She’ll no doubt work to keep Doug in isolation even longer.
Julie will also do some praying in church, but Marlena will derail the peace of the sanctuary by plotting an attack.
Days spoilers say Marlena will plot to shove Julie into the holy water vessel, but it seems she may have to bail at the last second.
That could be due to Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) arrival since she’ll need to make some church wedding plans soon.
Paulina will also need to talk to Marlena about Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) request for her to perform the ceremony. The devil will likely want to reveal Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) true parents and accept this officiant gig as a result.
In the meantime, Abe will have a medical crisis to deal with. He’ll get tangled up in Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) armed confrontation with Carmine (Richard Stevens) and have to be rushed to the hospital after Jake comes to his rescue.
Brady will also invite Chloe to move in with him once he learns she moved out of the Kiriakis mansion. However, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) won’t think Philip should throw in the towel just yet.
When Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) gives Kate the cold shoulder, she’ll have a realization about what she wants.
Kate will realize she’s quite fond of Roman and has a history to draw from. She won’t want to lose her bond with Roman, so she’ll grant his reunion wish and leave him delighted.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will also take steps to find Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) thanks to Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) new assignment.
John will carry out an investigation of his own and will end up finding Doug’s therapy session tape in Marlena’s office. The devil spoke through Doug on that tape and pushed Marlena to invite him in, so John will listen and get a shock.
During the week of October 22-25, John will let possessed Marlena hear that tape and wonder what she has to say. Of course, John will really be talking to the devil at that point! He’ll want his wife back, but the devil will fight hard to stay in control of Marlena.
Since the devil won’t want an exorcism or John’s loose lips, throwing John in captivity is the only solution. Marlena will hold John hostage while she continues to run amok under the devil’s influence.
Meanwhile, Paulina and Julie will develop a nice friendship. They got off on the wrong foot when Paulina first showed up in Salem, but they’re on better terms lately.
It turns out Days will take that a step further by strengthening this bond and turning Paulina into a real friend for Julie.
Unfortunately, Paulina seems poised to alienate almost everyone in her life through the secrets she’s keeping – the ones that are destined to blow at her upcoming wedding!
Paulina is Lani’s biological mother and Abe isn’t Lani’s biological father, so double trouble’s brewing once those shockers strike.
As for Jake, he’ll be interrogated following his arrest. Rafe will want to know about Jake’s history with Carmine, so this could lead to Jake ratting out Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and explaining the blackmail drama against Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus).
Gabi certainly isn’t backing down from this fight, so we’ll see if her prediction about Ava losing Rafe comes true. It seems likely since Rafe’s got the hots for Nicole, who’ll keep pining for him, too.
Some steamy scenes are coming up between Rafe and Nicole on a table at Basic Black, so it’ll be interesting to see if those are real or a fantasy.
Finally, Days spoilers say someone surprising will show up to see EJ. There’s a good chance it’ll be Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) who catches up with her son and warns the good people of Salem the devil is among them!
Susan may have a disturbing vision that people dismiss just because she’s such a kooky character.
In reality, the devil has indeed gone after Marlena and must be stopped! We’ll offer updates as other DOOL news pops up.
