Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) may witness EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) conference table love scene. Sami might return in time to relive John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) history, so let’s think about how this might play out.
There’s been a lot of talk about that infamous conference table romp, which was the birth of Sami Brady as we know her according to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
Johnny played up that pivotal moment as he convinced Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) to play their mom in his upcoming possession movie.
Sami witnessed the affair between Marlena and John, which sent her down a terrible road and left Marlena spiraling in the aftermath.
Marlena was eventually vulnerable enough for the devil to take over back in the ‘90s, so all of that’s important to keep in mind for this Days possession reboot.
Now let’s consider some puzzle pieces that could fit together in the current DOOL storyline.
We’ve got missing Sami, who’s been kidnapped and will have to score her freedom sooner or later. We’ve also got Abigail playing Marlena and EJ playing John in Johnny’s possession film.
EJ even mentioned that he was particularly excited for that conference table scene, so Days is setting it up as a pivotal moment once again.
Unless something changes, Abigail and EJ will indeed have to pretend they’re making love. It comes with the territory of acting out Marlena’s story and trying to do their jobs well.
Of course, there’s always a chance sparks could fly for real in the midst of all this, but trouble is brewing either way. EJ and Abigail once had a fling of their own, so that’s a sore spot for Sami and could be crucial here.
Perhaps Sami will escape or get rescued just before the conference table scene is filmed.
Imagine Sami’s shock if she walks in on Abigail and EJ recreating Marlena and John’s affair! It could mean reliving the horror on so many levels.
