Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, February 25 Recap – John Remembers Hearing Charlie Gunshot – Evan & Ciara Talk Ben

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 25, reveal that it was a new day in Salem, and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) cooked breakfast for Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).

Rafe noted that Ava didn’t sleep in her bed last night, but Ava said that she did and that she had gotten up early. Rafe thought that maybe Ava went to see Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) to take matters into her own hands.

Ava recounted her story about giving birth to Charlie, who she revealed to be Jimmy Jackamo’s son. Ava told Rafe about how she never felt any love for Charlie from the moment he was put in her arms, and she said that it was her fault that he became what he did.

Rafe took Ava’s hand tenderly and suggested that Charlie could get help for his troubles.

But Ava said that it was too late for healing, and that Charlie had no motivation to turn his life around. Rafe then got a call saying that someone heard a gunshot at Charlie’s place.

Ava immediately thought that Charlie might have committed suicide because he lost everything. Rafe took off hurriedly.

At Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) penthouse, Marlena confronted John about leaving last night without telling her. Marlena said that she was frantic when John wouldn’t answer his phone or texts.

John apologized, saying that he was upset and went to Charlie’s place but blacked out in his parked car after he got there.

John said that when he woke up, he saw Marlena’s many messages and texts, and then he came home. John insisted that he felt better now, but Marlena insisted that they go get him checked out at the hospital since he blacked out. John reluctantly agreed.

At the place where Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) is being held, she dreamt that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) was there to rescue her. Over at Ben’s apartment, he woke from the same exact dream.

Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) talked with Ciara, who gloated that Ben was going to come rescue her.

Evan then got a call from Orpheus (George del Hoyo) from prison. Orpheus wanted Evan to get him “proof of life” photos of Ciara so that he could bargain with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) for Ciara’s release.

Orpheus said that he wanted Victor to arrange for his release from prison, but Evan said that he had other ideas, and he hung up on Orpheus.

Ciara gathered that Evan had been talking to Orpheus, and that she might soon be free. Evan remarked that some things were more important than money, and Ciara said that Evan should just shoot her and get it over with. Even left.

At the Brady house, Ben arrived to tell Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) about his dream about Ciara earlier. Ben filled Claire in on his discovery of Allan Rhodes (Jason Downs) and how Rhodes had a shark tattoo. Allie told Ben about her run-in with Charlie last night and how she recorded his confession.

Claire suggested that she and Ben use the stuff that Ben found in Rhodes’ apartment to find Ciara – by getting Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) to look at them so she could feel their vibes. Ben agreed.

At Statesville Prison, Clyde Weston (James Read) approached Orpheus, saying that he overheard part of his conversation on the phone, and he was obviously talking to his son.

“Does it have something to do with Ciara?” Clyde asked. Orpheus told Clyde to mind his own business, but Clyde said that it was his business and that he’d get to the bottom of it.

At Ben’s apartment, Claire and Ben looked through the box of Rhodes’ stuff, and Claire found an “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” book. Ben remembered that in his dream this morning, Ciara was holding the sequel, “Through The Looking Glass.” Ben said that wherever Ciara was, she had Rhodes’ books.

At the hospital, Marlena got John settled in a room ahead of his CT scan. When Marlena left the room, John remembered hearing a gunshot last night.

At Charlie’s apartment, Rafe entered and immediately saw Charlie on the floor, shot in the chest. Rafe checked for a pulse, but Charlie was dead. Rafe started to call the crime in, and just then Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) walked out of the kitchen. Rafe held Sami at gunpoint, stunned.
