Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, June 24, tease that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will have a tense first meeting – and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will fight for her man’s job. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will also have an idea to share with Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow), so here’s what Days fans can look forward to.
For starters, EJ and Jake will exchange introductions. Although EJ may plaster on a smile and put on a phony nice act, Jake certainly won’t buy it. He’ll get the feeling that EJ’s coming for his position as the CEO of DiMera Enterprises – and Gabi will decide Jake may be right about that, too.
That’s why Jake and Gabi will team up for an important goal on Thursday’s DOOL episode. Days spoilers say Gabi and Jake will do their best to score enough votes to keep him in power.
They’ll eventually find out a DiMera board meeting is happening soon, so Jake and Gabi will work hard to make something happen!
As for Chad, he’ll have a proposal for Kate to consider. Chad knows Kate’s faking her blindness for revenge on Jake, so his proposition will probably involve this DiMera board meeting and putting the final nail in the vengeful coffin.
Chad may think this is the perfect opportunity for Kate to reveal her scheme and make Jake pay by losing his job.
Chad will also have a conversation with EJ and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) about the future of the company. EJ wants Chad to take over the reins again, so Chad may decide he’ll do it.
However, something tells us EJ actually has his eye on that CEO spot and will reclaim it himself by the end of all this.
In the town square, EJ will stumble across Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) talking smack about him. Lucas and Rafe will commiserate over how much they hate EJ, but he won’t be bothered when he overhears.
EJ would expect nothing less considering their history and the fact that they’ve all been romantically entangled with Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) over the years.
Sami will join this awkward discussion eventually – and she’ll face off with Lucas in front of Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) as well.
Roman will wind up confronting Sami about what’s really going on with Lucas, so she may hint about rekindling things and trying to move past it. Regardless, Sami will make it clear that EJ is her husband and the one she’s committed to.
There’ll be some other close calls as Sami tries to keep EJ in the dark on her cheating, but she’ll do whatever it takes to protect her marriage. We’ll offer updates as other Days news rolls in.
