Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) disappearance will bring Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) investigation. Clues will follow a mysterious attack on Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Steve will make a shocking discovery during the week of December 20-24. Kayla will turn up unconscious somewhere, so Steve will leap into action and make sure she’s all right.
It seems likely Kayla’s ordeal will be the result of a faceoff with possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), who’ll remain on the loose and will continue scheming.
Soon after Steve finds Kayla out cold, Allie will realize Tripp is missing. That’ll no doubt bring some panic under the circumstances.
Days spoilers say Allie and Steve will team up since they’ll both be invested in Tripp’s safe return home. They may fear the devil went after Tripp, who was admittedly a bit of a skeptic on all this possession stuff early on.
Tripp later opened his mind a bit, but it’s still possible the devil will want to prove his power and will kidnap Tripp as part of that plan. Then again, it could mainly be a situation where Tripp is in possessed Marlena’s way.
We know Marlena will make sure Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) is out of her coma and will help her escape for a new scheme.
If comatose Jan is at the hospital as opposed to a long-term care facility, that could lead to Marlena knocking Kayla out and holding Tripp hostage.
Marlena will do whatever it takes to score Jan’s freedom, so Tripp’s disappearance could be connected to that. Then again, it’s also possible Tripp will be off working on some holiday surprise. Steve and Allie may be paranoid for no reason in that case.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Allie and Steve will spend Christmas Eve searching for Tripp, but he looks just fine when he celebrates Christmas with Allie and Henry Horton (Nash and Clyde Gunderson) in DOOL’s winter promo.
That could mean it’s a false alarm or that Tripp will simply be freed from a captivity situation unharmed. No matter how things play out, Allie will get to spend a happy holiday as a family with Tripp and Henry.
