Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will make a decision that could affect his future in a big way. DOOL fans know that back when Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) accused Tripp of assaulting her, he wanted nothing to do with Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox).
Since Tripp was innocent and never slept with Allie in any way, shape or form, it’s understandable that he wanted to distance himself from the situation. However, so much has changed since then.
Allie pushed through her mental block and recovered the memories that confirm Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) guilt.
Allie has also apologized and feels terrible for wrongfully pointing the finger at Tripp. Of course, Tripp feels terrible for Allie as well since she got pregnant by his rapist half-brother. Now that Tripp knows Henry is his nephew, that’s another element he’ll consider ahead of this big decision.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Tripp will assist Allie in the week ahead. There might be some situation where Allie’s in a bind and needs someone to watch Henry.
It’d be cute if Tripp suddenly volunteered for babysitting duty and started to bond with Henry as his uncle. That could be just the kind of thing to set up the choice Tripp will make during the week of February 22-26.
Days viewers can expect Tripp to fill Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) in on this decision of his, which will involve helping Allie out more with Henry. It sounds like maybe an initial bonding experience with Henry will lead Tripp to step up.
Of Charlie can’t be a father to Henry no matter what since Days spoilers he’ll be murdered shortly, but Tripp can slide in that fatherly role.
Perhaps Tripp will imagine doing lots of fun things with Henry as he gets older – like tossing the football around or taking the kid fishing. Tripp will know that Allie’s a capable mother with a good support system, but he’ll still like the idea of Henry having someone to serve as a dad or someone who’s dad-ish.
Uncle Tripp can be that man for Henry, but Steve may wonder if Tripp’s sure about this. Although Steve will think it’s admirable, he might worry Tripp’s biting off more than he can chew.
Nevertheless, it’s not like Tripp is adopting the kid – not at this point in the story anyway. It’s sweet that Tripp will want to pitch in and have a stronger presence in Henry’s life, so this sounds like a great plan.
