Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tuesday, July 13 Recap – Abe Suffers Egg Attack – Allie & Tripp’s Bedroom Step

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 13, reveals that Abe Carver (James Reynolds) suffered an egg attack while Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) took a bold bedroom step. Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) also slammed the door on Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), so here’s how it all played out on Tuesday’s DOOL episode.

At home, Allie thought it was time to talk about her most recent kiss with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).

Chanel tried to act like it was nothing, but Allie insisted it was more than that. Allie admitted she felt close to Chanel and wanted it to happen, so Chanel revealed that she did, too.

Chanel went on to confess that she thought about their first kiss a lot and suggested she might like Allie as more than a friend.

Allie felt something more than friendship as well and thought about Chanel all the time, but it was complicated – especially since Chanel was the first girl she ever felt this way about.

Chanel understood that and acknowledged that Allie was seeing Tripp, but she suggested that maybe Allie shouldn’t be.

Allie didn’t seem keen on dumping Tripp, but Chanel argued that it was more like taking a step back until they could figure things out between them.

When Tripp interrupted on Tuesday’s Days episode, Chanel noted that the two of them had a lot to talk about and took off. Tripp got updates on the bakery debacle and how Paulina betrayed Chanel.

Tripp knew he’d gotten off to a rocky start with Chanel, but he admitted he liked her and saw why she had such a good friendship with Allie.

That led to Allie confessing that she shared another kiss with Chanel – a mutual one this time.

Tripp took a moment to process that news and wondered if this meant Allie had feelings for Chanel. He also asked where this left them – meaning Tripp and Allie.

At the police station, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) showed up to point the finger at Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).

Julie told Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) that they were behind Dr. Clay Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) corpse being in the lake.

Julie explained how she thought Dr. Snyder was just some deadbeat friend of Xander’s, but now she realized he was actually dead on the Horton sofa!

Julie pushed Eli to go arrest the murderers, but Eli suggested there was one little hiccup in Julie’s theory since the autopsy revealed that Dr. Snyder died of natural causes – heart failure to be exact.

Julie still felt like there was foul play involved somehow, so she convinced Eli to head back to the house with her to grill Gwen and Xander again.

Once Eli and Julie made it to the Horton home, Xander and Gwen weren’t around.

Talk turned to Paulina’s Price Town mess, so Julie assured Eli that no one blamed Lani or Abe for the trouble Paulina had caused.

At Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) townhouse, Abe’s coat was soaking in the other room since he’d had eggs thrown at him earlier.

Abe admitted he’d gotten a lot of backlash from his constituents, who thought he either colluded with Paulina or was just an idiot.

Abe was now the “mayor of Egg Town” and felt he should’ve vetted the project more closely.

Marlena wondered if there was something that could be done to stop the demolition, but Abe’s lawyers hadn’t given him much hope. According to Abe, it looked like Paulina was going to get everything she wanted.

When John asked if Paulina offered any excuses for her behavior, Abe explained that Paulina had once been trapped in an abusive relationship with a wealthy and powerful man.

Paulina vowed not to be beholden to anyone for money ever again, but John didn’t think that excused Paulina’s actions.

As for Abe’s romance with Paulina, he insisted they were over. Over at Lani’s apartment, she opened the door to find Paulina – and promptly slammed it in her face.

Paulina shouted on the other side until she convinced Lani to let her in. She at least wanted to speak with Chanel, but Lani admitted she didn’t stay there last night.

Paulina didn’t mean for all the Price Town drama to spiral out of control and hoped she could earn everyone’s forgiveness someday.

However, Lani felt like that was impossible and thought Paulina had pulled one big con ever since she came to town.

Paulina was hurt as Lani admitted to ripping up the twins’ college tuition check. Lani also thought it was a good thing Jules Carver didn’t get stuck with Paulina as a godmother.

Paulina begged Lani not to turn her back on her aunt, but Lani fired back that Paulina was the one who turned her back on her loved ones. She wanted Paulina to leave NOW and threw her right out.

Afterward, Paulina ran into Chanel in the town square. “Leave me alone!” Chanel yelled. Paulina insisted she was worried sick when Chanel didn’t get back in touch.

Chanel was glad she upset her mom and revealed that she’d stayed at Allie’s last night since she had to explain the bakery wasn’t going to happen.

Paulina thought she had a solution and suggested Chanel could open her bakery in Price Town. Chanel refused to have anything to do with Price Town or Paulina and stomped off as Abe appeared.

Paulina talked about Chanel hating her and wished she could make things right, but she stayed silent when Abe suggested calling off the demolition and saving the square. “Yeah, that’s what I thought,” Abe said angrily.

Eli returned home to Lani, who admitted Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo) suggested that she try forgiveness. After everything Paulina had done, Lani just didn’t know how she could consider it.

After a humiliated Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) bolted from Julie’s Place, she started clearing her stuff out of the bedroom at the Kiriakis mansion.

Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) blocked Bonnie from leaving when she tried to rush out the door.

Justin got down on one knee and opted for a more old-fashioned proposal since he wanted to ask the woman he loved to marry him.

Bonnie was overwhelmed as Justin offered a ring and asked if she’d do him the honor of becoming his wife. Once Bonnie insisted there was nothing in the world she wanted more, she kissed Justin passionately.

Justin assured Bonnie that he loved her for her and never expected her to be Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans). Bonnie gushed about how she never felt this loved in her entire life.

After Bonnie and Justin made love, they discussed wedding plans – including how Bonnie had already asked Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) to be her matron of honor.

Justin was thrown by that shocker, but he let Bonnie know she could have whatever she wanted for the wedding.

Back with Tripp, he pushed Allie to just give it to him straight. Tripp wanted to know if Allie was breaking up with him to be with Chanel.

Allie said she was confused because she never had feelings for a girl before and had such a strong connection with Chanel.

However, Allie assured Tripp that he was the one she wanted to be with. She felt like being there with Tripp in this moment confirmed it.

Tripp pointed out that Allie didn’t have to tell him about the kiss, but Allie insisted she always wanted to be honest with him.

Tripp was glad about that and assured Allie that he just wanted her to be happy.

Although Tripp and Allie hadn’t been together long, Tripp admitted he already cared about Allie so much.

Allie told Tripp she cared about him too and then planted a kiss.

“Let’s go to my room,” Allie blurted out on Tuesday’s Days episode. Tripp thought Allie wasn’t ready, but she insisted that she was now.

Allie promised she didn’t feel pressured and was sure this is what she wanted.

“Yes, I want to be with you,” Allie said to Tripp. From the main doorway, Chanel looked heartbroken as she watched and listened to the pair heading into the bedroom.
