Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, June 16, teases that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will stop Jan Spears’ (Heather Lindell) murder while Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) ruins Bonnie Lockhart’s (Judi Evans) date and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) gets a big surprise.
DOOL fans know Bonnie has faced some naysayers when it comes to her romance with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). However, Bonnie will hope for an attitude shift in Salem.
Bonnie will think she can make progress if she can get Steve and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) to support the relationship.
Bonnie will have high hopes as she kicks off a double date with Justin along with Kayla and Steve. Unfortunately, trouble will strike – and it looks like Steve will play a huge part in why.
Bonnie’s good intentions will turn into a total nightmare by the time this is all over, so she’ll seethe over Steve’s lack of support.
Over with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), he’ll play the role of a good listener as usual. Roman has that job down pat since it comes with the territory of tending bar.
This time it’ll be Abe Carver (James Reynolds) who needs some guidance, so he’ll fill Roman in on his budding romance with Paulina.
Abe and Paulina have major complications ahead since Paulina’s keeping her true agenda under wraps. You can bet Abe will lash out when he realizes what Paulina really has in mind for the town square, but that’s a revelation for another day.
For now, Abe will be interested in growing closer to Paulina and getting to know her on a deeper level.
Paulina and Abe will share a kiss soon, but it’s a different lip lock that’s about to cause problems. Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) will have a strategy session with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), who’s partnering up with her bestie to run Sweet Bits Bakery.
When Paulina finds Allie and Chanel together, it seems she’ll pick up on the more than friendly vibe between them. Paulina will give Chanel and Allie a weird look as they sit there looking bashful at the pub.
Days spoilers say Chanel will introduce Allie, but there’ll be some uncomfortable scenes as Paulina tries to make sense of their bond. This will lead to Paulina finding out that Chanel kissed Allie not too long ago, so Paulina will have a big reaction to that shocker.
As for Shawn and Belle Brady (Martha Madison), they’ll spot Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) taking Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) home from the hospital. Shawn and Belle will be relieved to know Chloe survived Jan’s latest reign of terror, but Belle will fret over Jan faking her coma again.
To be sure Jan is legitimately comatose, Days spoilers say Belle will take matters into her own hands. She may make comments that would certainly provoke Jan into lashing out if she were awake and alert. Belle won’t get a response, so next she’ll want to see if Jan’s ventilator is really necessary.
It appears Belle will unplug the cord and leave Jan unable to breathe temporarily, but Shawn will rush in and save Belle from committing a murder. They just got Belle out of prison, so the last thing they need is a new death to send her back!
Shawn will pull Belle into a hug and promise they’re all safe now, but that could change when Jan inevitably returns to Days down the road. As other news and updates roll in, we’ll keep you posted.
