Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that we should talk about the kidnapping plot that’s currently in motion. Someone has stolen Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) twins, so the parents will find them missing from the nursery and immediately launch a search effort.
Here’s where things get interesting. Days spoilers indicate that Dr. Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt) is the one doing the actual snatching. Dr. Raynor has a boss, so she’s not the ringleader here. Even so, it’s strange that Dr. Raynor has gotten herself mixed up in another baby-related crime.
DOOL viewers will recall that Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) busted Dr. Raynor for helping Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) cover up the baby swap. That was back when Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) dead daughter was switched with Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) healthy one.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) will interact with Dr. Raynor and the twins on December 8. Bonnie will naturally assume Dr. Raynor’s out for a stroll with her own babies.
Bonnie will have no clue that Dr. Raynor’s part of the kidnapping chaos – not until Bonnie mentions this woman and her twins to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) during the week of January 11-15.
By then, Justin will be in the loop on Lani and Eli’s missing newborns. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Bonnie will agree to describe the woman she saw to a sketch artist. Once Lani and Valerie Williams (Vanessa Williams) see the finished sketch, they’ll quickly recognize Dr. Raynor.
Lani should remember Dr. Raynor because of the baby swap case, and Valerie may know Dr. Raynor since they both used to work at the hospital in Salem. Of course, there could be another way Valerie and Lani recognize Dr. Raynor, but we want to focus on who this doc really is and who else she might be connected to.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jackée Harry will make her debut down the road as a new character named Paulina. She’ll be tied to Lani and Eli’s story from the get-to – and we know she’ll have a daughter. Could Dr. Raynor be Paulina’s daughter in the end?
That makes sense, but the better question is: Does Paulina know what her daughter’s up to or will she help “Elani” figure it out? Either way, Paulina will come to town in connection with this kidnapping.
To add another interesting layer to all this, Days spoilers say Dr. Raynor will deliver the babies to a familiar character. That’s not Paulina since viewers haven’t met her yet! Dr. Raynor’s boss must be someone else, so that someone could easily be Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano).
Vivian had her own twins stolen from her and isn’t a fan of Lani, who shot and killed Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). Linda Dano will be playing Vivian this time around – and it’s worth mentioning that Dano worked extensively with Harry on Another World years ago. They even shared a dressing room, so Harry and Dano were quite close.
It seems like a no-brainer for Paulina and Vivian to land in each other’s orbit, so their connection may be that Vivian hired Paulina’s daughter, Dr. Raynor, to do her dirty work.
Is Paulina involved as well or will she simply help crack the case? Time will tell, but this is shaping up to be an intriguing DOOL mystery!
