Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, January 8, reveal that Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will make a horrifying discovery. DOOL fans know Eli gave Lani a locket gift and has been teasing her about the car seats for their twins.
They’re a little confused about the delay on taking their babies home, but they certainly don’t suspect someone’s busy kidnapping the twins as they speak!
As Eli and Lani approach the nursery on Friday, they’ll find that Carver Grant and Julia “Jules” Grant are missing from their bassinets. There’ll be a moment of panic, but Lani and Eli might hope there’s been some mistake.
They may feel like a nurse must’ve taken the babies elsewhere, but Eli and Lani will soon get confirmation that Carver and Jules are indeed missing.
Days spoilers say Lani and Eli will both be in freak-out mode, but they’ll stick together and do whatever it takes to track the twins down. Meanwhile, Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) will bump into a face that’ll be familiar to DOOL fans.
Remember Dr. Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt), the doctor who helped Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) with the baby switch cover-up?
It turns out Dr. Raynor will get mixed up in another storyline featuring plenty of baby drama. Dr. Raynor will be pushing the twins in a stroller when she runs into Bonnie, who’ll gush over the kiddos and ask way too many questions.
Bonnie will want to hold the babies and will probably ask their names, so Dr. Raynor will grow concerned about Bonnie botching the plot.
Since Dr. Raynor’s working for someone else, she won’t want to blow this and fail to deliver the babies. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Dr. Raynor will eventually insist she has to go. She’ll dash off, but Bonnie will get a good look at Dr. Raynor’s face – and that’ll be important in next week’s episodes.
In the meantime, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) will get updates on the double baby snatching. Valerie and Abe will fear for their grandchildren, but they’ll definitely be willing to help Eli and Lani however they can.
Next, Xander will dig through the information Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) scored for him – and it’ll lead to Xander hitting the jackpot. Xander will find proof that Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) has been laundering money through Titan.
Unfortunately, exposing this secret could put Philip’s life in grave danger – and that’s what Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will be worried about on Friday. Chloe will plead with Philip to accept her assistance, but he’ll be reluctant to put Chloe in harm’s way.
As Philip looks at a missing poster for Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), he may wonder how all this is going to play out. Ava comes from an extremely dangerous family – and they’ll surely want their money whether Ava’s around or not.
Philip might even worry that he could be blamed for Ava’s disappearance, but Bonnie might come along with big news.
Since Bonnie is a bit of a gossip queen, she might’ve heard the scoop on Ava being found and hospitalized. Whatever the case, Bonnie will talk to Philip about Ava in Friday’s episode, so we’ll see if she has any info to pass along.
At Statesville, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will admire some pics of Rachel Black (Josephine and Rosalind May) and most likely some of Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), too. Sadly, Brady’s upcoming visit will bring some “Bristen” conflict.
Kristen will notice an article about the New Year’s Eve bash on the prison computer – and there’ll be a photo of Brady and Chloe’s kiss.
Days spoilers say Kristen will blast Brady for betraying her, but he’ll insist it wasn’t like that. Brady will try to make Kristen understand that the kiss was completely innocent. He’ll argue it was a platonic smooch to honor a New Year’s Eve tradition, not some steamy moment of reconnection.
Kristen will have her doubts about that, so things should still be pretty tense as they part ways. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Brady will ultimately leave and cross paths with Chloe as well as Philip.
Whether Philip likes it or not, Chloe will prepare to fill Brady in on the mob money laundering crisis. She’ll think they’ll need all hands on deck to make sure Philip stays safe!
