The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, September 18, reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) may have to wallow in heartache.
Across town, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will offer up some evidence of his love for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will also step up for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) when she needs someone, so let’s talk about what’s ahead in Genoa City.
For starters, Cane will decide he’d like to make some progress with Devon Winters (Bryton James) if possible.
All this conflict has to be hard on Lily since her brother despises Cane and doesn’t view him as good enough for her.
Of course, Devon is stuck on Cane’s past mistakes, so Cane will try to fix that on Friday’s show.
Cane will want to prove he’s a changed man and offer proof of that along with his devotion to Lily.
Since Cane will provide a peace offering, he might suggest something that could benefit Devon and the liberal arts college he’s starting in Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) name.
However, it’s doubtful this will do much to sway Devon’s opinion in the end.
Devon is pretty stubborn, especially when it comes to his protective side regarding Lily.
Over with Chelsea, she’ll find Sally in distress and come to her rescue.
Sally hopefully won’t have any baby-related issues this time around, but she’ll still be upset on Friday’s show.
Chelsea will console Sally through a crisis that’ll most likely involve Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and yet another instance of letting her down.
Whether this is about Billy’s Chancellor obsession or something else, Chelsea will step up with some support for Sally in her time of need.
Other Y&R spoilers say Phyllis could be stuck dealing with some devastation if Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) stands by Thursday’s decision to leave town with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk).
After a tough goodbye on Friday’s show, Phyllis may desperately need some good news.
That could come in the form of Phyllis trying to undo some of the damage when it comes to her relationship with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).
When Phyllis hears about a project that’s on the horizon, she’ll throw her support behind Daniel’s potential new path.
Phyllis may like the idea of Daniel working at the bar with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and perhaps giving some public musical performances there.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis and Daniel will need some help if they’re going to truly fix their broken bond, so Danny will try to work his magic soon.
