General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, September 21, reveals that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) got a veiled warning. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) also got a chance to remain in Port Charles and gladly took it.
Plus, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) offered Agent William Baines (Alimi Ballard) an exchange.
In the Metro Court parking lot, Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) opened the car door and pushed for answers about why Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) was in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) vehicle.
Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) opened the passenger side door next and also wanted to know what was going on.
It turns out Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) contacted Rocco and Scout as a last resort to stop Charlotte’s plan.
The truth about Charlotte’s blackmail trap for Drew came out – including to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) when she showed up after hearing about a disturbance in the parking lot.
Carly dragged Charlotte to her office and scolded her since carrying out that plot could’ve been disastrous.
Charlotte didn’t want Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) brought in the loop, but Carly insisted on calling him anyway.
At the Surf Lodge, Scout fumed over Charlotte’s actions and considered the possibility that Drew was right about everyone being out to get him.
Rocco shared a tender moment with Scout and tried to be there for her during all the turmoil.
In Willow’s office, she left an angry message hoping to get in touch with Baines.
Valentin showed up after being summoned and made it clear that attitude wasn’t the answer.
Willow insisted Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) had been framed, so Valentin assumed she thought Drew was behind it.
Valentin insisted offering Drew as an alternative suspect wouldn’t get Nina out of trouble.
Willow thought maybe she could bribe Baines, but Valentin said he couldn’t be bought.
Instead, Willow needed to step up her game and find a way to make herself indispensable to the WSB.
After Carly called Valentin to come to her office about Charlotte, he let Willow know he had to go.
Valentin noted that his first piece of advice was free, but it would cost Willow next time.
Once Valentin arrived in Carly’s office, she filled him in on Charlotte breaking in Drew’s car and left him taken aback.
At Anna’s place, Jason informed her that he refused to back up Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) when she wanted to take her accusations to the PCPD.
Anna continued to beat herself up about the whole situation and assumed the WSB was going to lock her away since Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) took her advice about reporting her.
Anna wanted Jason’s help getting Josslyn and especially Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) to understand the harsh reality of how far she took things with Britt.
That way, Josslyn wouldn’t blame herself and Emma wouldn’t blame Joss.
Baines eventually showed up and informed Anna that she could stay in Port Charles for therapy with Dr. Nichols, who’d been vetted.
Anna just had to agree to let the WSB review all Dr. Nichols’ notes and sign an NDA stipulating that she wouldn’t publicly disclose anything that happened to her in the last year.
Jason was uneasy about the WSB’s cover-up, but Anna signed in a hurry.
On his way out, Baines made a comment about the WSB being glad that Jason was enjoying his freedom now that he was back in Port Charles.
“Should we need you again, we trust that you’ll be available,” Baines said ominously.
Baines later arrived in Willow’s office, where she was cordial despite her frustration over all the latest Nina news.
Baines assumed Willow had questions, but she said she only had one and wondered what the WSB needed from her to ensure Nina was returned to PC immediately.
Back with Jason, he told Anna about his breakup with Britt and explained that it was because of his own trust issues with her.
At GH, Britt opened up to Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) about not being able to save someone in captivity and how Jason didn’t believe her side of the story.
Isaiah gave Britt some support and acted like she was better off without Jason if he didn’t have faith in her.
